    On 8/22/2022 I called the owner of Diversified Roofing to request and discuss roof repair services, during the conversation I asked him how we should proceed. He told me at the time I would need to sign and return his proposal in order to confirm the work. On 8/23/2022 Diversified Roofing came to my residence without any notification or prior confirmation, climbed up on my roof and performed work. I did not sign and return the proposal and I did not authorize the work. I do not believe I am responsible to pay for services I did not authorize.

    Yes, On 8/22/2022 *********************, Owner of Diversified Roofing and ************** did have a conversation regarding the next step in getting the repairs completed on his home. During that conversation ************** gave a verbal ok to the doing the repairs. This was contingent on receiving the signed proposal. 

    **** placed the unsigned paperwork in the truck of our Repair ********* with a note saying to wait till **** gave the go ahead. Unfortunately between the 22nd and 23rd that note was lost and since ****************** paperwork was on the top of our ********* pile for that day, he went out to ****************** home to complete the repairs.

    We were unaware that ************** was unhappy with the chain of events until we received the notification from the BBB of ****************** grievance. We would have been happy to resolve this issue before this had we been contacted directly. 

    We deeply apologize to ************** and ***************** for any inconvenience and undue stress we caused them. This is not how **** like to conduct business and there was no malicious intent on our part. 

    This was a mistake on Diversified Roofing part and we agree with ****************** is not responsible to pay for repairs he didn't authorize. 

    ****************** account has been marked as paid and he will receive no further attempts to collect payment on this account. 

    We hope that the repairs that were completed have helped to resolve the issues that he was having with  his roof.
