I had a kidney stone removal around 2021 and procedures done shortly before. This was with Lakeland hospital. The bill was quite substantial and was picked up by ****************** I have been making on-time payments with ****************** Every new year I get a "bill" from Corewell claiming I now owe them money on this bill. I politely remind them that the bill was paid through ***************** and any payments due are now being made by me to *****************---and not due them. I was sent a message a day or so ago on Corewells web portal telling me (for the 2nd time now) basically "....your health insurance provider has "reprocessed" this claim several times since the procedure resulting in you now owing us this portion of the bill". This is an outright lie as the statute of limitations on processing an insurance claim in the state of ******** is 1 year per MCL - Section *******i (unless the provider is acting under litigation OR subrogation which this insurance provider is not). I no longer have this insurance provider and have received no notifications that said provider has "reprocessed" any claims?I understand Corewell is no longer working with *****************----that is not my concern. You assumed ******** entity and also assumed their debt (which they agreed to have paid through ***************** in a signed agreement with me). Corewell has the ***************** information and has admitted on their end that the bill is now held by *****************----so I'm not understanding what the problem is here!!!I am not planning on transferring this bill in any amount back to Corewell and wish for them to honor this agreement and to stop bothering and threatening me with a bill that is no longer owed them!!

My husband had to drive me on December of 2023 I went to Corewell Health ***********, ** because of an infection. Coughing a lot, no fever and sinus were clogged. When I arrived, the doctor said because of my weight and because my blood pressure was high that there wasn't anything they could do. I told the doctor, I'm going through menopause and my ** is high because I've been coughing about every ****** minutes. I called back that afternoon, I was referred to an ** nurse, who informed me that if I cannot breath, then I better get to the hospital in 10minutes. I filed a complaint on the ** Nurse. I went to a walk in clinic. That doctor disagreed with what the doctor at Corewell stated. The doctor put me on ***********. Felt 50% better the next day. I received the bill from them and did pay this. As he said, not everyone fits into the same box. In February I received the bill of $161.50. I said I'm not paying this, because the doctor did nothing. The room was filthy, she dropped the nose and ear projector and I asked if it were clean before she used it. I filed complaints with patient relations before receiving the bill. I had to keep reaching out to them. They sent a letter to me regarding the visit but sent it to someone elses address. I finally received the letter. I was told that the bill would be cleared. Haven't received any other bills until December 26th. Stating that there is still a balance of $161.50. I reached out to them and stated why haven't I received anything within the past 10 months. I was told that it still due. I asked for this to be escalated. I received a call lastnight. The supervisor said that no one above here or anyone in a managerial position would call me. So she was advised to call. Again, I was told to call patient relations. I said I'm not going through this again. I will file a complaint.

I was diagnosed with oral cancer in March of 2023. After surgery at ******** in *******, I elected to do my chemotherapy and radiation at *************************/Corewell. After my chemo and radiation I was very frail and hospitalized numerous times. When I was out of the hospital in October of 2023, my wonderful Oncologist and Radiation Doctor thought I could benefit from physical therapy (speech and lymphedema) as I had half my tongue cut out and lymph nodes removed. On my behalf, they set this up through Beaumont's Outpatient Therapy during this time my condition and vitals deteriorated and I was hospitalized with pneaumonia. During one of my hospitalizations, my primary care doctor told saw me on suggested I receive home nursing. This was coordinated and set up by ******** through their home nursing partner. This is where the problem started. Because ******** does not allow you to receive home nursing and physical therapy, ******** reversed my previously allowed claim for $713 on December 5, 2023 (according to the ******** *** I spoke to. On Christmas day (1 yr and 20 days later) I received the attached statement from Beaumont for ******** which I don't understand. I called their remote billing office 3 times to get an explanation and got no where. They just offered me with a payment plan. One ***resentative claimed they just received th ******** reversal. I understand I bear some responsibility for not knowing ******** guidelines, but, all services were set up by Beaumont through ********. I could accept being responsible for the $713 charge, but, I don't understand how it translates to over 7 times that amount. I would love to meet with a mediator and resolve this situation. I have always paid the email bills I receive immediatly. With exception of their billing department, the people I've encountered at ******** have been professional and caring.

I received a call from a lady named named "****" from Corewell's Patient Relations yesterday. My husband and I explained the situation to and included that we are appealing the ******** judgements with them.  We let her know our dissatisfaction with the rejection of ******** claim #**************MIAU ($4382.00, 10/18 - 10/312023)  and reversal of ******** claim #**************MIA ($713.00, 10/09/2023) and that because all the services were recommended and facilated by Beaumont Hospital through Beaumont Hospital they share the blame for my services not bein covered.  In short, we relied on Beaumont Corewell to follow the guidelines set forth by ********.  Aside from agreeing that I should appeal the decisions on the above ******** claims, nothing is resolved as of yet.

I am writing to express my frustration and dissatisfaction with Corewell Health ************ regarding a surgery performed on June 20, 2024, and the subsequent complications I endured. The surgery led to serious complications that required me to visit the ** and be admitted to the hospital again on June 26, 2024. These complications stemmed from the initial surgery, which was not handled *********** make matters worse, I am now being double charged for their mistake. I received a bill ******** #*********** dated June 29, 2024) that reflects charges for both the original procedure and the follow-up admission caused by their error. I do not believe it is fair or ethical to be financially burdened for complications that were no fault of my own (within in 6 days of the initial surgery)I trusted this facility with my care, and instead, I have been left dealing with unnecessary health challenges and an unjust financial burden. I am requesting that Corewell Health Wayne County take accountability for their mistake by correcting the double charges and removing the billing for the second admission caused by their error.Patients deserve better care, accountability, and transparencythis experience has been deeply disappointing.

Beaumont Hospital Chain became Corewell while I was doing Physical Therapy at a *****************. I already had a payment plan with Beaumont that was being updated as new charges were added, but once they moved to the Corewell system my billing was moved as well. Now they demand 2 monthly payments, one for Beaumont and one for Corewell even though everything was done in one facility. The amount of the 2 plans is 46 dollars and change more then if they combined the bills and gave me a 12 month payment plan. Being disabled on **** this alot. I have contacted Corewell billing multiple times, including their financial aid department. Instead of combing my payments they say I can get financing thru ************* or try for financial aid forgiveness. I just want to make one payment per month. While I am making payments, and have been for over a year, to ********, Corewell is threatening to Collections.

I have been trying to resolve a payment issue with Corewell Health for the past year. This week I received a refund check for an amount I previously paid and a bill for the same amount. Reference number was T725817349. I had ******** when I went to a *************************** last year. The *********** uses Corewell for billing labs. For the past year I have been harrassed by Corewell despite repeatedly giving them my insurance information. I finally paid the bill to protect my credit score. This week I received a check for ****** from Corewell (check #*******). The check states "overpayment" in the memo. (Memo number is ********). The next day I received a bill for the same amount. No one at Corewell billing has been able or willing to help. I have already called their customer service department multiple times. Can you help?

I have had possibly the most upsetting experiences of my life over the last two and a half years at ********/Corewell health. I have seen a lot and dealt with a LOT of upsetting things in the over 450 days I have spent there. They have denied I had a major surgical complication, called me a drug seeker and kicked me out when I had clots in my lungs, putting me on antibiotics for c diff just assuming I had it because a positive test would give the hospital a "ding", and most recently being horribly bullied by their new administration to the point that my own physicians are not allowed to see me or admit me anymore, and it was so bad my own doctor told me to contact the attorney general, my district representative, as well as an attorney... (I haven't yet found an attorney or been able to message the AG)I desperately need help.

My son was hospitalized in March 2023. He was taken by ambulance to a Corewell Health hospital in ************. We were asked all the normal registration questions and they treated my son with the utmost care. In August 2024 I received an email from a debt collector about a debt with Corewell Health. After verifying with Corewell that it wasnt spam and updating the information they had that was incorrect (an address we havent had since 2017 and definitely not what I gave them in 2023) I called and paid the debt collector thinking it would be the end of it. Now mid September 2024 and I get a second email from the debt collector that there is another bill from Corewell health from the incident. I did my due diligence by fixing the incorrect information and paying the initial bill, but they continue to send my bills to debt collectors, negatively affecting our credit score. I now have to call again to find out why I wasnt sent a bill or called before sending my sons account to bill collectors. This is especially frustrating when we are willing and capable of paying these bills if properly notified.

Corewell billed me for services that they did not actually provide to my son. I disputed the debt but they claim the account will continue to age. All attempts to contact the medical records department have resulted in voicemails. If the hospital would like to charge me for services they should be able to produce the records that were produced while providing the services. Sending me bills 18 months after the visit with no information after I already paid the hospital for the visit and charging me for services they can't prove they provided is fraud.

Corewell health sent my request for a payment plan to commerce bank twice. I now have a duplicate payment plans for over $2021 with commerce bank. ************* recognizes the issue and has requested the duplicate account be closed but ******************** wont approve the closure and keeps telling me its been escalated to a manager for review. I have spent over 4 hours and months dealing with this issue. I want the duplicate account closed before the due date 8/7/24. I will not have a late payment due to corewell ******** incompetence!!! I want my original balance plus the duplicate written off at this time since they wont fix their error!! I have done all I can do by calling commerce bank and corewell multiple times with no resolution from Corewell Health. This is unacceptable patient billing practices. I have documentation of the duplicate charge and the date they sent the duplicate request to commerce bank. Corewell has even admitted they see the $2021 unapplied in mine and my sons accounts because of the duplicate but still wont approve the closure of the duplicate account which is going to result in a late payment from me to commerce bank because of Corewell healths error and them not approving the duplicate acct closure! I want this written off plus interest and repayment of my lost wages for having to spend hours dealing with their incompetence!
