    On November 4, I needed roadside service (flat tire) in ***********, *********. I contacted my insurance company, and they hired Bobby and *****'s to be the service provider. The worker showed up with a flatbed. After taking off the lug nuts, he tried pulling the tire off, but it didn't budge. He gave it a few half-hearted kicks and tried pulling it again. He said the rust was making it impossible to take off. He then inspected the other tires and said they all needed to be replaced. Since he couldn't put on the spare, he offered to tow the car to his own shop (some shop other than Bobby and *****'s?), but I declined. I contacted another provider who had no problem taking off the tire. He said the two back tires needed to be replaced, but there was nothing wrong with the two front tires--lots of tread left.

    Hi *** I am sorry that you were unhappy with our service. We try to do our best and help people in need and provide alternate solutions when possible. It sounds like my driver attempted to help you out but was unable to do so. Trying to get a tire off a vehicle on a jack in a parking lot or side of the road can be very dangerous to our drivers. A vehicle that is on a car **** is never completely safe and then having to kick a tire that is even slightly stuck on a wheel makes even more dangerous. His half hearted kick *** have been as comfortable as he felt in that situation with a vehicle on a ***** My tow truck drivers are not technicians or tire professionals so their opinions as to when a tire should be replaced *** be wrong. Its the job of the place you bring your vehicle to, to determine which tires should be replaced. Again I apologize we were unable to meet your needs on that day.

    Thanks. I appreciate the potential difficulty of the work, but in this case, my car was in a safe location, and again, another provider had no problem removing the tire. Since you are in the business of providing roadside help, this should have been a job you could handle. I am perplexed why the worker suggested he take my car to his own shop and not yours. That seemed out of the ordinary to me. Any clarification you can provide on this would be appreciated.
