Aftermarket hitch installed on a *** X5. When replacing the bumper they did not secure a sensor properly. The sensor states to give me errors 8 months later. When *** took the bumper off the sensor was dangling. They said it was never secured by the hitch tech and because of that water got into the sensor and corroded it. Burnsville hitch said its not their problem and blamed it on the *** dealer. Said as long as it was working when I drove off, it not their problem.

Bought a Westin Grille Guard from etrailer, had an appointment set up with B-Trailer. The guy on the phone stating $155 for an hour. I went there around 11-ish, my truck didn't get the work started at 12 something. The guy was installing the part had an issue finding the correct installation instructions, didn't know how to install the part, took him 2 hours just to read the manual, cutting the bumper to custom fit, what a waste of time, is this what a professional would do? Wasting as much as time as they can just to charge you for the service. I even helped the mechanic installed the part at the end of the service. I asked the store manager ***** walking me through why am I getting charged $580, he told me that I was there 5 hours, he didn't bill for 5 hours, he only billed me 3.5 hours. I'm like I was there around 11: 15 and my truck didn't get service until 12-ish. Their business closes at 4 where did he get the 5 hours from. They billed me $540 + tax it came around $580. Just because of an un-trained mechanic wasting time s******* around and they charged me a fortune. It's an unprofessional business for anyone out there to use it. I bought the part at $850. It costed me more than half of what I'm paying for the part. It's ridiculous for them to charge me this much it should of been only $155 plus tax if the mechanic is certified to perform the job correctly. I don't recommend anybody to use this business for anything because of how they scam you for the charge not reasonable.

Stopped by to ask for a bid for a 2" hitch receiver for my vehicle. I was given a quote of "around $800" which was much higher than the same thing they put on a different vehicle of mine 4 years ago. The guy was brusque and said things have gone up, and also that he had to remove my bumper to install the hitch. I said I would get back to him. I verified the bumper would have to come off, and called them back to set the appt. The man on the phone told me it would cost $975 and would take about 3-4 hours or more. I protested and said it was $800 only a few days before and he said he would split the difference and do it for $895. The man was unpleasant and rude to me. I hung up. After calling around, I found a place that did the whole thing, including removing and replacing the bumper for $461 and it took a little over an hour. Interestingly, they also told me they often got calls from Burnsville Hitch to help them fix jobs they screwed up. It's a shame, because I have used B. Hitch twice in the past and they were very pleasant and affordable. Now they are rude price gougers! I don't know how they have any customers at all.
