1 starThey use deceptive tactics when you purchase extended warranty. The way it's explained and printed in the brochure that is shown to you is different than the way its cobtracted. When reaching out to the warranty company or the dealership non are helpful and both deflect blame. When you're told senior management will reach out, no one communicates. I purchased a 2018 ******** and it's been the worst consumer experience in my life. There was undisclosed body damage at time of sale that they only were willing to cover a fraction of the repair costs. Less than a year after purchase the head gasket failed. We purchased "bumper to bumper, any and everything" warranty for $4,755, beware the parts that fail commonly are apparently optional add ons, however the brochure and explanation we received would've indicated we were completely covered. They have no interest in assuming culpability and should you chose to buy there, first have the vehicle thoroughly inspected by an independent shop and second have an attorney review purchase agreements or warranties. If they had the last car on earth for sale and I needed one, I'd buy a new pair of sneakers instead.Review frommichael k

1 starwe bought a 2022 Acadia from ***** McCarthy and we have had nothing but problems with it since we purchased it in January of 24! This car was a certified pre-owned vehicle and came with a good warranty, it had roughly ****** miles on it when purchased. When we were buying the car the only item missing on the vehicle was the sim card for navigation, so we made the deal and they said they would order a new sim card .That week we brought it home the check engine light came on and we had it fixed at the dealer by our house 200 miles from ***** McCarthy's . since then the car has been acting like it has all kinds of electrical problems. It has been in for repair numerous times for elec. problems and as I write this the anti theft is going off in our driveway!!!We cannot get in the car to take it in to our dealer here because the doors have locked again not allowing us entry, once we were able to get into the car it read attempted theft? My take on this is that if ***** McCarthy had given us the sim card at the time of purchase and we seen that it did not work it would have been a deal breaker for me and my wife. It is now 6-5-24 and I need to take it back in for more electrical work, it feels to me like they put band aids the fixes until the year warranty is off.Oh and by the way it is now June and I still don't have the sim card after many calls!!! Please Help.Review fromMai V

1 starWorked with salesperson *** from the dealership. Went in and test drove a 2016 Sienna on Saturday 1/6/2024. Van was in great condition - no sounds while driving or no hard bumps. Informed *** that we would be purchasing the van on Monday 1/8/2024 but wouldnt be able to come by until 1/9/2024 to pick up. Asked them to replaced the fog light lenses as it was broken.1/9/2024 comes and *** claims that they will not repair the fog light lenses as the light still is functional. Financed and drove the car home. On that same day, I noticed that the van made rubber-like noises during turns and bumps. And van hit hard on curbs and bumps. Van didnt do any of this during our test drive.Took the van into a local shop that I trusted. Was advised that struts were probably just replaced - very new condition to struts and it was after market struts. Its very upsetting as it seems like the original struts to the van was swapped out to cheaper after market struts/parts by McCarthy Auto World. They claim the van is sold as is but seems like they made the swap after we test drove the van. Will not return or support McCarthy Auto World again. Will not recommend dealership to anyone. Please stay away unless you want parts swapped out for cheaper parts and will have to eventually pay more for repairs. Cant be proven as its our words against theirs but we sure noticed the difference after taking van home. Do not support dealership! Stay away!Review fromKari F

To start with I traded a truck in July of 21 and got a new one. They told me my truck I was trading in needed new tires and their offer would be lower because of that. Come to find out they sold that truck with those same tires on them, so they screwed me on that. May not seem like a big deal but its the principle of it. Next on my new truck it was missing a plastic cover which I noticed after I got home. I had them order the new part. Two months go by so I called them to get an ETA and I hear that they never even ordered it. A few more months go by so I call again and same thing. Now Im getting ****** and all they can say is that there was miscommunication not even a sorry. Took a few more months and finally got the part and still no sorry for the wait or them not ordering the part when I asked for it originally. Now I scheduled a service to have my breaks changed because faulty pads and I took it in today as they said they were going to fix them. They check the pads and agreed they needed to be replaced but they didnt have the pads and it was going to be two weeks before they get them in. So now Im ****** again and wasted time to drive to **** Rapids from ************ and took time off work to do this. On top of it I know this may be weird to some but they washed my truck without asking even though my truck was spotless when it came in. They were hand drying it with towels which I dont do, I use a backpack blower because I dont want a towel touching my paint any more then it has to. I know most of this might not sound like much but its a big deal to me. Then while I was waiting today I saw a used 21 Corvette for sale and had a tag on it saying the *** value and their sale price was lower by a few thousand. So I wanted to check it out myself and went to ***.com and put in the Vin number and mileage so it had all the accurate info. The value came back 20 thousand under what they were asking. What a bunch of con artist they are. I wont be going back ever.McCarthy Auto World

*****,I tried to contact you to discuss your concerns but was unable to. We apologize for the lack of follow up and miscommunications with your missing plastic cover. The brake pad issue is a difficult one with many customers having a similar problem and there being a parts shortage. We are working to try and get the parts for your truck. We will contact you as soon as we receive the parts and you can choose to have us repair your truck or not. The parts are on a national back order and are released on a case by case basis and there is no ETA. I wish that I had better news. We apologize for not asking your permission to wash and hand dry your truck. We opted to market the truck you traded in at a lower price and not repalce the tires which is our choice. I don't know what went wrong when you priced our the 2021 Corvette but the *** value is not $20,000 less than what we priced it at. We have computerized software that we use to price our preowned vehicles based on what is available in the market place. We would never price a vehicle $20,000 over fair market price because no one would buy it. If you would like to discuss anything further please call me. Sincerely, *****************Review from

Purchased this 2022 *** ****. Upon delivery the *** app and Onstar in the truck would not sync. The salesman was unable to resolve this issue. Management did not help the salesman resolve this issue. Hunter the salesman has actually proven to be a bright spot at this sad dealership. In light $10,000.00 dollar because they can **** up on the window sticker, I expected top notch after the sale service. Did not happen! Do not need or want a response from management on this matter of fact comment. They did nothing for me for close to a month. Please dont try now. I will continue to advocate for myself. Oh, and at about 500 miles a service transmission light came on. Was stuck in AWD and the parking break would turn itself on.McCarthy Auto World
