    This situation happened at the Arden Hills location of blue pearl. I would give them zero stars if I could. This past Feb. 2022 my dog went back to the hospital, and the care he was given was HORRIBLE. They did not look after my dog, they did not notify us that our sweet little pug gained 3 pounds in two days (this is a serious matter). They were not taking him out to go potty, and when we were being told that the doctor was the one checking on him we found out she wasn't and it was actually the vet tech. Our poor pug had so much fluid build up and we were never notified. The pictures I have of his fluid build up is very disturbing, and heart breaking. This shows that they were never actually taking my dog out and checking him because if they were they would have noticed it. I had to bring my pug home and call about the fluid and send pictures to prove it. They then go "oh yes he has edema" Okay, why was this not already caught when he was literally at blue pearl an hour prior! They then told me I could come back in and PAY again to get him rechecked! LIKE WTF? this was their fault, and yet all they care about it money. We paid $5,000 prior to this and not once did they say sorry, admit to their mistakes or even offer some of our money back. They only wanted more money! Sadly, 14 hours later we had to say goodbye to our sweet pug because his edema was getting worse and he couldn't breathe anymore. I called to set up meeting with managment to go over his care- I played phone tag for a month. They finally tell me that they will look into a meeting and then NEVER called me back or returned my calls for 2 months! I finally got a hold of them again and was furious! The lady was so RUDE, and just said there was nothing they could do anymore. BLUE PEARL does NOT care about animals, they just care about money. They then said they would have their specific staff reach out and here we are a month later and still no call. Blue pearl only cares about their paycheck.

    Doctor overseeing case, Medical Director and all aspects of management have reviewed the case and spoke with the owner a number of times since her pet was in hospital. All parties have agreed appropriate communication and medical care was provided. When relaying that to this client, we advised if she did not agree with our medical directors review that she is welcome to have the ***** of ********** Medicine review our care as a third party where she can give them approval to review all documentation of conversations and treatment plan while in hospital.

    As told with blue pearl many many times. Nothing was said about his giving of medication, taking his temp. etc. We are upset with blue pearl in their complete lack of communication when it came to our pugs care. They didn't communicate with us of his fluid, gaining weight. I had to go there to tell them tape was on too tight that his paw was swollen, we had to tell them they needed to take him outside to go potty, we had to ask them why he was not taken out of his kennel ever in the 3 days as his poor body was so full of fluid! If our pug was taken out as he should have been staff would have noticed the insane amount of fluid he had built up! I am not talking about what is listed on paper, I am talking about the lack of communication from doctors, and the care he was clearly not given. We are also upset with the fact that all we asked was a meeting to go over his care- to sit down and talk over. Blue pearl REFUSED to do this because they know they are in the wrong and made mistakes. This is all we asked for, but no blue pearl refuses to actually care about their clients they just want the money. It is disgusting how much they charge but then treat the owners as if we are stupid and make excuses for everything. I am tired of hearing about what is listed down as his medical care as that is nothing to do with why we are upset. Blue pearl doesn't care as long as they make profit.
