  I am a full-time bike commuter - I do not own a vehicle. Shortly after my bike was stolen I purchased a bike from Handsome Cycles with no indication that the bike would take weeks or even months to fulfill. Got a confirmation email then nothing. 1 week went by, 2 weeks, 3 weeks. Emails and phone calls went unanswered. So I opened a dispute with PayPal and then of course ***************************, the shops deceitful owner, immediately responds with every excuse. I told him I no longer wanted the bike - that I rely on it for transportation and found one locally after 3+ weeks of waiting. But we were building this just for you blah blah blah. So we came to what I thought was a reasonable agreement at the time - he would refund me the $680 once the bike sold. For sure by Christmas if not sooner he said. This was last October, eight months ago. Havent heard a word from the guy since. Calls and emails go unanswered, voicemail box is always full. And I can no longer dispute the charge through PayPal since its been 180+ days. TL;DR DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH HANDSOME CYCLES. As others have stated, they will overpromise and underdeliver and outright steal your money. It is criminal that this scumbag *************************** is allowed to remain in business and I will exhaust every option available to hold him accountable. If I could give zero stars I would - worst experience Ive ever had with a bike shop and any business for that matter. 0/10

  as others have stated, never received product or refund. still owed $700 eight months later. calls and emails go unanswered. zero communication. completely unacceptable. owner *************************** is as dishonest as they come, the worst of the worst. do not do business with this guy.

  Ordered a wheelset and accessories from Handsome Cycles in mid January. Similar to others here, these were indicated as being in stock and ready to ship, and after ordering I received an automated confirmation email stating I should expect updates as soon as they were shipped. Weeks went on, and I received no signs of progress for my order, despite the advertised ships in **** business days notice they listed. After three weeks of no response I attempted contact via telephone, E-mail, and on their social media accounts, and have not received a single response. Thankfully my credit card allowed me to dispute the transaction, but this has been one of the worst customer service experiences I've seen from a small bike shop / bike builder and it presents its claims of shipping and inventory incredulously.

  Hello, Why all the negativity ? I believe Handsome cycles and not the disappointed buyers. I purchased a Handsome Cycles Fredward Single Speed Black and Tan. **************** was Second to None folks. The bicycle is a very solid build. They even gave me a big discount. Price for the bicycle and shipping costs together was less than $600 bucks. So I find it not believable that the other customers comments are so blatantly ugly. (?). Im telling the truth and I think jealousy could be a possible factor involved from other bicycle online sellers? Its possible. Sincerely, ********

  My family purchased two bicycles from Handsome last year yet we have received nothing but excuses and delays. *************************** appears to be going out of business and taking customers money with him. The ********* Attorney General can and will help those affected in that state. Because *************************** and Handsome Cycles sells online across state lines, the the *** and the FBIs cyber crime division will investigate.

  I paid Handsome $1000 for a bike 5 months ago. There was no indication at the time I ordered the bike that it was not currently available. I immediately got an automated message saying they would update me once the bike has shipped. After a few weeks I emailed, asking for an update. No response. Called a few times, finally getting a hold of someone who told me the bike needed to get here on a boat first, that they would be back in touch. Never happened. That was the end of October. I reached out again early January, asking for an update. They said they should get an update on shipment arrival date next week, and they'd be back in touch as soon as they know more. Never got back in touch. I've emailed them 3 times asking for an update since then (Feb 18, Feb 22, Mar 6), and called almost daily (no answer, and their voicemail is full). I've gotten no response or outreach from them.Someone saw my yelp report of this and told me they've had the same issue, but for an order way back in 2021. This is outright theft.
