      I was very disappointed to be placed on MNsure and I chose ucare. Each month my amount due was incorrect. I was told is was not cost effective to take insurance through my job which was incorrect MNsure ucare was more expensive. Now I am without insurance due to the the cost being to high. I thought this was a program to make insurance affordable when in fact it is not.

      With no written or any kind of notice they changed the amount of pills, of my long term medication, to an amount that gave me only 21 days worth of medication instead of 30 days. Inspite of getting a prior authorization from my MD and calls from my pharmacy Ucare still refuses to allow me to fill my medication to the 30 day supply. By the way i even have a letter saying they accept the prior auth but they still refuse to fill my 30 day supply rhis month. Adverse effects from suddenly stopping this med can include suicidal ideation, seizures, insomnia, anxiety, etc..I informed them of such and was told they

      In October I got a ride from transportation and they sent a vehicle that had faulty brakes. I will not use ucare transportation because no one call me about the grievance I made against the taxi company. You people don't care. I had to get a job so I can save to buy myself a vehicle so I can get to my appointments. This is the second grievance I failed, the first one was when the dentist left a piece of tooth in my gums. I'm so sick of this company.

      UCare Minnesota has recordkeeping problems regarding ****************** companies, but they blame it on third party services, saying it's not their problem. Really?I've had trouble over the years using my ******** benefits with all the different hoops of different vendors they require to access coverage. Worst of all they can't even manage who is covered and who is not covered by their insurance. In mid-November I changed my ******** Advantage plan to another provider. on December 2, UCare sent me a letter saying "You have been disenrolled." Weeks after that, and a full month after changing my coverage at ********.gov, I am receiving next year membership mailings from Ucare Minnesota including a Member Card etc.Calling them to figure out the problem, the representative immediately said to ignore the mailings as everything is handled by third parties, not Ucare. That's a ridiculous statement read from a script, without even accessing my member status. If you care about your health care, I do not recommend using Ucare Minnesota, since they do not seem ***************** for membership and benefits. They will defer to some third party that you never signed up with.

      Unequivocally the worst health care experience I have had in 41 years of existence. I've been trying to access my members benefits for over 2 months and get properly billed in the mail. They haven't been able to accomplish these two simple tasks. Just getting insurance cards in the mail, let alone receiving mail from them to the proper address was like pulling teeth. Not a great start. There isn't ONE single person who can help. I just get passed from one person to the next in their customer service department and each person just explains why they can't help me---or that it is outside of the scope of their responsibility and what they do. I would under no circumstances recommend Ucare and can say this has been the worst customer experience I have ever encountered. Total bummer. Will be changing companies during open enrollment, only after several months of being under their plan.

      One of their nurses provided information about me that was totally wrong. And set a process in motion that I don't know if I will be able to recover from.Most of mental health providers who accept UCare are not MD's. Since I retired and went on ******** ucare the quality of all of the medical care I have access to has plummeted

      To refer to this company as a bait and switch would be an understatement. This company is ONLY in business to make money, does not provide customer support, lies about out of network coverage and uses its non-profit status to AVOID paying its share of taxes. Ucare, as most managed care companies, started out as a good idea, and it was a decent plan, a PPO, in the midst of PFS and HMO options. But as most companies, it forgot its original mission, got greedy, and forgot about its members in the process. A new hire decided it would be GRAND IDEA to create an out of state network, but dropped the ball. Therefore if you live out of state during the winter like many Minnesotans, you are now at the mercy of the so called network of providers that Ucare half heartedly put together. I have been asked to pay OUT OF POCKET for services that in the past were covered. UCare has become a money-hungry, greed focused, untax paying monster. They tell you one thing and DO another. And there is NO CUSTOMER SERVICE! I was literally hung up on by 2 people. A third went to retrieve an answer for me, and NEVER returned. Destiny, bless her heart, stuck with me, spent 40 minutes to get to the bottom of why Ucare was suddenly NOT paying for any OUT of network providers, because, her words, they decided to credit at multiplan to help folks who are out of the network during the winter I asked her if there were any providers in my (**) zip code. NO!! Sorry Miss, there are no providers, but there is a provider in ..(30-40 minutes away and wont accept a MN doctor **************** job!)I immediately contacted the office which oversees Ucare/******** plansthey have SEVERAL violations against them! AND i contacted ******** and asked to be release from Ucare which she did based on the circumstances of lack of coverage. The ONE star is for Express Scripts which is great.

      Great value, many nice options and good coverage. My mother in law was with them for years and we elected to use them when we started Medicare..highly recommended.

      Hmmm!, Where do I start? I could complain about the multitude of errors made by UCare resulting in nonpayment for my services as a psychologist dating back to 1/3/22, or I could complain about the lack of competency in managing my health insurance plan with them since I signed up for a ******** Advantage plan last October. These concerns are ongoing and unresolved! However, I'll briefly focus on their lack of competency in helping my spouse in resolving problems, which are, likewise, a multitude: Claiming she no longer had insurance after I switched to a ******** Advantage plan when I turned 65; claiming she failed to make a monthly premium payment even after she supplied them the payment confirmation number and had the credit card information to prove it; claiming she didn't meet her deductible and out-of-pocket maximum in spite of her providing them the facts; talking over her on the phone and dismissing her concerns. Based on UCare's inaccuracies and lack of competence, my spouse now has outstanding medical bills, bills she should not have to pay as the math does not lie regarding her deductible and out-of-pocket maximum being met for 2022; while she waits for UCare's staff to fix their mistakes, she is postponing much needed medical services. I forgot to mention my spouse is extremely intelligent and logical--watching her in tears today is difficult for me as she is beside herself in trying to talk logic with illogical people. I AGREE WITH ********** FROM 01/23/2023, I WOULD GIVE A ZERO RATING IF I COULD. IN FACT, I'D ENTERTAIN A MUCH LOWER INTEGER! Thanks for this opportunity to express my thoughts on the matter. **********************
