Tow truck driver did not properly plastic a shattered window when he was hauling a black pickup truck on his flat bed. The shattered glass he had in the cab came flying out as he was passing me on Hwy 169 north bound between *********, ** and *********, **. I was able to get the name of the company off his truck and I looked up the number to call and report it. When he answered and I told him the truck in front of me pulled off on a side road. I didn't not stop as I was alone and didn't feel comfortable doing so. I told hi. I would look at what damage was done when I was able to stop. When I tried calling him back my call was ignored. I sent a text message explaining who I was and there were message back and forth with him stating all the shattered glass was in the cab, then when he pulled over there was no glass on his trailer so he's not at fault. I told him I was filling a police report and he then accused me of falsely targeting him for a payout. He told the police it isn't an admission of guilt but he would pay my deductible to make it go away. I had my truck estimated at $8,304 to be fixed but if I claim my insurance will go up. I want his insurance to pay to have my truck fixed. Still waiting on a copy of the police report.
