      I purchased my boat new in 2015. It supposedly has a lifetime warranty on transom but am having trouble getting it repaired. It has paint bubbling around the bolts and ports in the transom with white powder under the bubbles. The dealer says the transom is safe but I am concerned for how long as the white powder indicates oxidation of the aluminum.

      Short story... I bought my SECOND brand new **** boat October 2022 from ****************************. Never had any issues with my 1st boat, but wanted something more comfortable for my family, going from a **** Proguide $34k+ to an Impact- $60k+boat. The fall of 2023 (using the boat as a weekend warrior for 1 year) I noticed the aluminum mainly on the starboard but as well on the portside is denting/bending. I contacted the dealer on what steps I need to go through to have it looked at. Brought it to the dealer they inspected it, words from their service **** "They know something is not right" and they took pictures. Rapid Marine service **** in communication with Lunds warranty ****. I was never tagged in any emails or communication on MY boat. I am told **** will not repair, and it was abused or user- error. I am not pounding waves, racing to the next spot at tournaments, or taking it out in nasty weather. I am a family guy, fishing and enjoying the boat on the water. To say I'm the cause... you are telling me that it can't handle anything other than smooth water. What does Impact mean? Why did they choose that name? Glass water seems like it may be a better fit for a name. My boat is in immaculate shape just as I bought it with this flaw now! Recently I noticed I have 2 s**** pops under my vinyl floor and I have a row of screws that work loose on my flooring. I never had to bring my boat in for inspection on the floor and **** already accepted to fix in the off season (interesting). New boats are going to have a few kinks to work out, but this is not working out. I should not have to deal with this or feel this way with this big purchase in ALMOST 2 years of owning it. **** is not easy to contact especially anything involving their warranty services, they hide behind the curtains of their dealers.

      The pictures that were provided to **** show an outward dent on the freeboard, this is caused by the freeboard being flexed in far enough to hit an internal support. The inward flexing is not caused by material or workmanship therefore it would not be covered under warranty.

      To correct your comment, the freeboard is not showing an outward dent. It is smooth and wavy (multiple waves in a 3-4' area). Nothing looks like it has been hit by an internal support, to me it looks like there is no support. I did not come here looking to bash **** boats, I just want my boat fixed. I have never hit anything or have been on rough water. This results to marksmanship this boat is not made for durability. I am a level headed person and willing to hear you out. I feel like in this situation I am being made out to be the bad person when I am not getting any answer from **** or the dealer and I just want my boat fixed. And using reviews as my last draw, to others may look a bit overboard. Why is there multiple **** Impacts that seem to have this same problem that review just on BBB? Your rating is at a D- on BBB, that says a lot. I wish I would have done better research on a boat that was built better and bought from a better manufacturer that cares about their customers. My 2nd experience with **** is very poor! I did not get the right answers from my dealer (brushing me off). Couldn't get a hold of **** myself, I am still waiting on a phone # from my dealer. I filled out surveys about my new boat- being reasonable on my answers and never have been contacted. I didn't know coming here for a review (my last resort) would get any kind of response from ****. **************** is NOT your strength!
