    I reserved a room at the Kahler Grand Hotel for the night of September 11, 2022. It was because I was to have surgery at Mayo on September 12th at 8am. I became ill a few days before and was advised that **** couldn't perform my surgery while I was sick. I called the Kahler to cancel the reservation 2 days in advance and was told the reservation couldn't be cancelled or refunded. The Kahler doesn't make their own reservations. They do them through an outside 3rd party and they don't tell you that when you are making the reservation. The outside 3rd party says reservations aren't cancellable, but they don't tell you that when you are making the reservation. I can't understand how a hotel that's basically there to serve the *********** can treat its customers so poorly. My reservation was for $400+. Discover wouldn't refund my money and I was never able to get ahold of anyone at Priceline (the 3rd party vendor) to cancel the reservation. No one answered the phone, ever.

    Filthy, awful service, thieves. The hotel room was filthy. There was body fluid dried on the bedside table, grime and filth in the room. They changed our room after the body fluid discovery- my daughter woke up, saw the body fluid dried on the bedside table. They charged my account for the stay. The second room was just as disgusting as the first. We have pictures of both rooms. Whole we were staying, we asked for simple things-extra towels, extra blankets, extra pillows. We never got them. We had to go to the desk. We were given dingy grey towels that had, at one point been white. We checked out of the hotel early the second day. I am a patient at the ************ Im immunocomprimised, the hotel made me sicker. I got physically ill due to the stay. When we were leaving, we passed the first room we stayed. The housekeeper was using the towels we had used to clean the restroom. We saw that. It was so gross. I paid the bill. I got a receipt. They held almost **** on my debit card for 5 days. Then, they charged me two more times-unauthorized charges under the Kahler Grand Hotel and then under the Marriott. I called the *************** They stated that the Kahler Grand Hotel, *********, ** was not a Marriott property. They are committing fraud! Something needs to be done.
