Received another bill directly from them for services already paid to the urgent care. Everything was done and paid for with the urgent care, this is an additional surprise bill they are sending and the urgent care bill already specified the amount which was due to X-ray. Te account # is ******.

Thank you for reaching out with your concern. I am unable to locate your account in our system using this name, email address or account number. Could you provide your full name, date of birth, location of the urgent care where services were provided, and the date of service?

These incompetents are submitting bills incorrectly so insurance isnt paying them, and then sending ******** patients like me the bill. This should be illegal. Its definitely unethical. I've called multiple times to straighten it out and they keep f****** it up.

We have looked into the details of this account. The date of service was 4/16/24, the claim was filed to BCBS of MN on 4/30/24 using the information that came over to us via the file feed from the performing facility. The claim was rejected because the patient could not be identified. Emails were sent to the patient on 5/4/24 and 5/9/24. A statement was mailed to the patient on 5/14/24. The patient called on 5/20/24. On 5/21/24 ********** called and provided an updated billing address for **********, which the agent updated in the system. The claim was refiled on 5/20/24. We have confirmed the claim is now going to the correct place and will be processed.

Would give 0 stars if I could..went in for a cortisone shot, which I never got....Dr. ordered a MRI which I did and paid what was not covered by insurance in full right there....Dr. ordered a knee brace for me which was returnable within 30 days.... brought back in two weeks due it being bulky and not very effective....they turned me into collections after a month saying that the brace wasn't returned....got that debate straightened out and then get a bill from these clowns saying I still owe them $200..... tried to contact to clarify the situation and the business is now closed permanently.....no one van give me a straight answer when I talked to them and kept giving me someone else to talk to.....what a joke!!! Knee is the same as it was when I first went in there and cost me over $550 for deductibles and things that weren't covered by insurance.... very upset.... don't go there!!!

I went to * Health Fairview a couple months ago and had two scans taken (knee and chest). The *yChart website had me pay the ***** (over $800). All my doctor ***** have always been handled through *yChart (used by * Health Fairview); but, a couple months later, this "Midwest Radiology" (whom I've never heard of) is sending *****, and now threatening collections. I've written the * Health Fairview billing department through *yChart to verify if this is legitimate or a scam, because it doesn't make any sense, but even after multiple messages on *yChart over the past week, along with a phone call, there have been zero responses from * Health Fairview on whether this is even legitimate. After looking at all the other reviews from other people here, the evidence seems overwhelming that Midwest Radiology truly is a scam company, and they need to be investigated by the government for mass fraud, and/or there needs to be a class action lawsuit against them.

Zero Stars. HUGE Billing scam. Do not use. I paid off my original bill and then received an additional bill several months later. Midwest Radiology said they originally sent it to a different address. I pointed out that I used the email bill and it was not on this bill. No explanation to why it was not originally there. They use several billing PO boxes... very shady. They also bill much higher then any hospital larger radiology centers. Rude billing service if you question anything. I asked to do speak to someone else and they hung up on me.

I has a soft tissue scan on my neck in May of 2022. Something I have have done yearly. I switched doctors and the new doctor had me go to Suburban Radiology (now Midwest). It was submitted thru insurance but we never received a bill, ever. Last week we received a letter/bill from a collection agency. We sent it back telling them it's not our bill. We looked at of insurance claims and saw the scan was submitted for it. I called Midwest and the person I talked to was rude. She couldn't tell me the date of service, had my birth date wrong, and also said they texted me the bill. didn't know what clinic it was or procedure. Told me I should work on my recollection. She also couldn't tell me what number they sent the text to. I called again 2 days later with my husband on the line too. This time they knew our number and address. Said nothing about the text. I asked why we didn't get a letter warning us about collections, and all he did was repeat the 2 months that they said they sent statements in 2022.

RUN FAR AWAY. Dont go anywhere that uses this godawful company. They took an unauthorized payment, then when I asked for a refund it took them 3 MONTHS to refund it. The managers are absolutely useless and gave no explanation or apology for the unauthorized stolen money and lengthy refund time. Reading the other reviews on here, this isnt the first time they have stolen unauthorized payments from peoples bank and credit card accounts.

A thorough review of this account has been completed.DOS 12/29/22 and 2/21/23 Summary: Two payments taken in April, but the patient only intended to make one payment of $97.66. Refund processed on 7/4/23.Account details:DOS 12/29/22 ($209) ************* patient was responsible for $165.52.DOS 02/21/23 ($47) ************* patient was responsible for $30.28. There is a 2nd payment of $0.48 posted on this charge as well and showing $47.00 patient responsibility. The patient set up payment plan of $97.66 for two months on 4/7/23.The patient called on 4/7/23 stating that set up payment plan but no payment had been deducted. The agent advised on how to make payment on portal. The patient made payment of $97.66 and then two days later the automatic payment of $97.66 was charged as well. The agent should have advised the patient to wait as automatic payment would be processed but to allow more time. The agent has been coached on this. The patient called back on 4/10/2023 stating she had been charged twice. The agent reviewed the account and opened an investigation, advised the patient to allow **** business days for the refund to go back to the card. Refund was processed on 7/4/2023 for $97.66. A new statement was sent on 7/29/2023 for $97.66.The patient on 8/8/2023 to inquire about the balance, stated she had already made that payment. The agent went over the charges and asked when the payment was made, patient stated she paid in April. The agent asked to hold while she reviewed the account, System shows the caller disconnected. The patient called back on 8/8/23 and explained her concern. The agent reviewed the account, apologized for the inconvenience, and explained since one of the payments were refunded, she still had a balance. The patient got upset and explained what happened in April. Stated this was our error and requested a manager, the agent escalated the call.Call escalation-Agent explained the refund was processed which left a balance on the account. The patient stated that was previously told it would take 10 business days for refund. Agent explained that refund could positively take 4-6 weeks to process refund. The patient stated she was going to contact BBB. At this point, the escalation specialist/supervisor should have escalated to manager for assistance. We have provided coaching to staff to better handle this situation in the future.

I think they are a scam. Supposedly they reviewed my "x-rays" after knee replacement, but the only x-rays were a year earlier. Then i paid an emergency room bill for radiology then received a bill from them for same service.

    Midwest Radiology

    Date: 03/13/2023

Midwest Radiology interpreted an x-ray on 12/8/22. This was filed to insurance and there was $4.94 left to patient responsibility. On 1/4/23 Midwest Radiology interpreted an US + Doppler and filed to insurance. There was $66.57 left to patient responsibility and $82.41 to deductible. These two dates of service resulted in a total bill of $153.92. Midwest Radiology, P.A. performs the professional interpretation of the imaging exams performed at the locations where the services were rendered.

That's pretty funny because when i asked for clarification regarding "reading of xray" on 12/8, no one on my surgical team said ***re was an xray... but ***re was one from *** previous december, before my mri and surgery... maybe that's why it's only $11.00.... i received *** bill three weeks after my surgery by text..... when i asked for clarification, i got a bill for *** above. Just because you can attach a cpt code to it, doesn't make it viable. I find it interesting that ***se bills are always seperate from *** medical procedure. Btw, do you read your online reviews? Most people hate your billing system and lack of clarity regarding your charges and when people question your process you get vindictive and turn *** bill over to collections to punish ***m. Maybe you should work to clarify *** who and what ra***r than state generalities.

We received a bill from them in the mail and paid it. Somehow on the same day at the same time they took money out of multiple accounts and credit cards of ours ten times. Accounts that we did not give them access to. All transactions were for the exact same, small, amount... much smaller than the bill we supposedly owed them. We've reversed all transactions with our credit card companies, and banks (some transactions were card transactions and some were ACH somehow) and reported this to the local police, and the *** for fraud/scamming.
