We contacted *********** Roofing November 2022 to advise them we had a water leak which we noticed was from the drip edge not being replaced when the roof was installed. We are still under our warranty until 7/13/23. They had to install new deck boards which resulted in the drip edge not meeting the facia causing a gap. We were promised that this would be fixed in the Spring 2023. It is not Mid-July and no repairs have been done. We have spoken with 4-5 people and have yet to receive a date for the repair. We rarely receive a call back..it is us having to reach out to the office and still not receiving a date for the repairs. Our last call was today and we spoke with *** the owner. He said he does not have a date but has the materials. He told us not to call the office ever again and it would be taken care. We advised him we want to be home when they come out for repairs. We spent thousands for this roof and they stated their warranty is one of the best in the business. They are not standing behind their warrant. We have gotten the run around since November 2022. We want this repair fixed as we are now having water issues again.Business Response

If the client is owed a reimbursement for materials, they should email the receipt to ********************************** along with an explanation. When the original agreement was made, it was our understanding the client was to provide the materials. We apologize for any misunderstandings.Initial Complaint

Last May 2022, we incurred a lot of hail damage. Twin City Roofing (TCR) came out, told me they would get me siding money as well as more money for my roof (as the amount given to me by my insurance wouldnt cover the cost of the job), more money for my skylights and gutters (which incurred damage as well) and that he (**********) would get State Auto (my insurance provider at the time) back out to my house to look closer and fight for more money. They only wanted $500 good faith money from me which I gladly gave envisioning new siding and a new roof. ****** passed and I didnt hear boo. Spring? Same. No one has been to the house or ever called me to keep me in the loop. I have had limited contact with TCR since early May and they say they are waiting to hear from State Auto (who I also initiated a complaint with BBB). ********** hasnt done one thing that he said he would do. He is not fighting for more money from State Auto. If they dont do their job I expect that $500 back.Customer Answer

Twin City Roofing (TCR) met with ******************** on June 21, 2023 to finalize items for the roofing project. TCR has made several attempts to follow up with his insurance company on ************************ behalf, his insurance companies continues to deny the siding claim. TCR can only advocate on behalf of ******************** but cannot determine the outcome of the claim and recommends ******************** take other courses of action with regard to the siding portion of his claim such as contact a public adjusting firm. ************************ roof will be completed in the next 14 working days.Customer Answer

Homeowner (**) contracted with Twin City Roofing (TCR) to replace shingles and gutters. On 12/2/22, TCR removed the gutters and replaced the shingles over the next few days. TCR damaged siding, trim, and other exterior around the home. TCR agreed the damage was related to installation agreed to replace the damaged siding, trim, mailbox, and other items accrued on a punchlist that was understood to be taken care of in spring due to snow. Gutters were replaced in February. TCR did not agree to deliver downspout extenders in February to the ** despite ** request to store on site for attachment in spring to avoid spring thaw/rains going into the foundation. TCR repeatedly would identify a day for a specific follow up, and not complete the task on that date, nor communicate change in plans to **. On 4/6/23, TCR reached out to ** to inquire if ** would like to be notified when a TCR rep will be out, or to let the ** know when the job was finished. ** responded would like to be aware of TCR plans for repair, however there was still snow around the home. On 4/11/23, ** notified TCR that the snow had melted and clarified items to be included on the punchlist, including several cracked and broken shingles on the roof, holes and other issues related to poor workmanship, including items that weren't appropriately fastened, caulked or sealed, a sizable leak in the gutter, trim/siding damage, poorly installed chimney flashing, clean up of large pieces of gutter, metal, roofing supply and siding left in yard, and reimbursement for mailbox as well as downspout extenders. TCR agreed and noted 4/12 that they would schedule a field technician to inspect. Since that date, TCR has not followed up, nor responded to inquiries from **. On 4/20/23, ** requested status of inspection/repairs and request for downspout extenders to be delivered soon due to water in basement, and exposure of open siding from damages to elements, and again requested status on 4/27/23 without response.Business Response
