My daughter bought her first car from Highway 47 Auto in St.. Francis, Mn.We knew it need front brakes which they never bothered to tell us we discovered that on a test drive. All things considered figured that wouldn't be a big deal. We were wrong! Turned out all 4 brakes and roters needed replaced. Also found out the engine was bad and needed rebuilt and the catalatic converter needed replaced as well. Someone had reset all the engine codes! We took it to a reputable mechanic and they told us there was noway they didn't know there were problems with the engine in the state that it was in! We left several messages and not a one was returned. I accidentally happened to get one of the owners and he tried telling me he was driving the car back an forth from Shakopee, which couldn't be true with the condition of the brakes and tires and it had expired tabs too. He said he would talk to his partner to see what they could do to make it right but I never Heard from him again even after leaving several messages. I had trouble getting the tabs from them as well. They won't even return phone calls really ! That tells me you know the car was bad . SHAME ON YOU!! How can you run a business this way! Go somewhere else to purchase a vehicle. Everyone should beware of their shady way of doing business and taking advantage of 16 years buying their first car!! What we thought was a good deal turned out to cost us over half if what we paid for the car in repairs!! You should NOT BUY FROM this dealership !!! Go somewhere with integrity and will stand behind their vehicle purchases. These owners only care about getting your money and could care less if they sell you a safe car that will actually run!!
