      September 20th, 2022, Container Sellers (AKA Discount Containers) company in Saint Paul MN, committed to deliver a 40 foot shipping container to my Cincinnati Ohio, area residence, delivery included, within 2-4 days of my check clearing. They required a prepayment of $3,500 before the container would be delivered, offering multiple ways to pay them, including wire transfer. After many weeks of shipping delays and ultimately no delivery after a full month, I demanded my money back, as my project could not be completed. I was forced to order a container from another company, who promptly delivered it from the same shipping location as Discount Container was using, remarkably within forty miles of my home. "ML", the GM of the company is slow to respond, does not answer direct questions without prodding, and phone messages often go unanswered. I have, after two months now, not received my refund, and the company has held my money for over two months as of the date of this writing. I include an email transcript of the communications (with dates) between myself and their GM Mary L***** *not including phone conversations, and with typos corrected for clarity), along with the receipt they were VERY slow to email me; only after multiple requests. ML told me she would have their "accounting department" send a refund check to the address I supplied. Now ten days after she said it would be mailed, the refund has still not arrived. I would strongly recommend that no one else be subjected to these hassles, delays, and acute concerns of being scammed . . . and it would also be rightful that the company actually should pay interest on the money they've been so slow to refund . . . my time and attorney fees, should those be ultimately required for recovery of my funds.

      This customer was sent a full refund of $3495.00 for his container purchase price promptly after he had required to cancel his container after we had gone through the time an expense preparing the container the way the customer had requested and getting it ready for him to pickup at the place and time he requested

      Our company offer a full money back refund, unlike most container suppliers that charge high container restocking fees in the hundreds of dollars when their customer cancel an container purchase order.

      The refund check was sent to the customer address to the customers address during a holiday day week and by the time we receive this BBB complaint there was a chance the check may not have even been delivered to the customer location. When we received this notice from the BBB we informed the customer we would promptly send a replacement refund payment and if he received the first payment check he could cash that and not have to wait for the second replacement refund check. 

      Additionally, the customer contacted the BBB with his notification of not receiving his replacement check before notifing us that he had not received the check and allowing us to assist him with getting his refund fund as promptly as possible. Furthermore, there was no issues on our part in the sale of this container to this customer. It's our understanding according the the customer that on the way to picking up the container he purchased from, he fund someone else  selling a container close he liked and purchase that container. Then called us and canceled his container order with us.

       I am rejecting this response because:

      The response is totally false.  2.5 months is NOT prompt, and the container, promised within 2-4 days of receiving my check via email, was NEVER delivered.  The company GM is often slow to respond, and I STILL have not received my refund check.  I requested my refund check for over a month before there was any action taken to resolve.

      The customer notified the BBB that he had not received his refund check without notifying us first. Which deprived us of having an opportunity to quickly address the customer missing refund check claim before he filled this BBB complaint. 

      Again, as soon as we were made aware by the BBB that the customer had not received his refund check. We immediately contact the customer to resolve the customer lost or delay refund check concerns. To help the customer as best possible, at time we sent the customer a replacement refund CERTIFIED FUNDs CHECK to the customer address via USPS Certified mail.

      Contrary to what the customer is claiming. The United Postal Services tracking system and the Post Office customer service has confirmed to us that the customer had received the envelope with the Certified 's refunds refund check that was sent by us to the customer and in a timely fashion.  We are unwilling to upload a copy of the Certified FUNDS Check the customer received from us, because the customer refund check contains confidential customer information the should not be revealed n the internet.
