On April 5th of this year around 4:30 AM, my vehicle is taken from the property of my job where I was working. I had fallen behind on car payments and it had been repossessed. Part of the reason for being behind was I needed to get all 4 brakes replaced. I had gotten most of it done but still had some left to go and I was keeping the parts in my car. Probably 3 days before the repossession I had moved those brake parts into a large box in my trunk instead of on the floor of my back seats. When I received my vehicle back from Recovery Industry, those parts, specifically the 2 very heavy brake rotors, brand new in their own boxes, were nowhere to be found in my vehicle. When I asked the company about it, I was told to send an email about it and that they had 21 days to go through everything and "come up with a solution" as if I were the one in question. Of course they leant back on the piece of paper I was very hastily told to sign, although it was signed before I could inspect my vehicle. He said to look out the window of their office and verify that it was indeed my car they had pulled up. I looked, it was, so I signed. As he's essentially pushing me out of the door, i asked "don't I have a container of the things you took out?" Unfortunately I know they take basically everything out because of a past experience. He says "oh. It must have been somewhere else" He didn't even realize I had my things still in his building or he didn't know they had taken everything and not returned it to me. Either way, a poor way to conduct a business. I get home and after rummaging through my things tossed into a bag, I realize the parts are gone. In response to my email, less than a day later, was a generic response saying I signed all my rights away to mentioning anything missing, even though it was signed before I could thoroughly inspect my vehicle.

Receive multiple calls a day with the same voice mail "This is direct recovery solutions with one final attempt to reach you before your account is transferred to our escalation department for processing please contact us at ************."These calls come in at between 5-10 a day from different numbers, will stop for a few months, then start all over from a new number with the same volume. Its ridiculous, and have no past due debt that this company should be calling me over.

I was contacted by the company as a last attempt per the voicemail to collect a debt before it is sent somewhere else this is the first time was about 30 minutes and have called 5 times since then. I have not been contacted by this company for anything, no previous phone calls, no mail or emails. I do not owe any debt to this company or anyone that might have sold to this company and if I do they need to send me something to verify the debt is mine.

I have now received multiple phone calls and text messages from this company. When I call their different numbers they provide each time they state I owe them money from a payday loan. The issue is that I have never taken a payday loan and the debt date is well beyond the state statute of limitations. I refuse to be informed that I will be garnished if I do not pay immediately for a loan I did not take out. If this company does not cease and desist I will take legal action.

I received a text message stating: Dear *******************, To avoid non compliance and escalation please call ************. Text STOP to opt out.Upon texting STOP I received a message referring to DIRECT RECOVERY SOLUTIONS. This form of DEBT COLLECTING is not a legal form of debt collecting. If this company has a true debt then they should mail to me by **** mail the valid proof of the debt. Not a letter, not a copy of the proof but the ORIGINAL proof of the debt from the originating company to which they obviously purchased the debt.

This company has called or texted me for over a 2 years now. I answered the phone about 6 months ago. The representative asked to speak to my wife. When I asked him what about. He told me this was a collection for a payday loan form Advance America in 2019. I told him no way my wife took out a payday loan and since we just purchased a home (11/21); there were no way we could have missed a 2 year old collection. I asked him to send me validation of the debt and he said he would. That was over 2 years ago and still no validation letter and nothing on my wife's credit reports. Yet, they still call or text with threats to escalate. Part of me wishes they would escalate, because I pay a legal service benefit, for just such an occasion we can go to court and this scam would come out during discovery. I just want proof of this debt. It may be identity fraud and it would be important to have documents to file a report.

On 1/3/2024, I was texted on my cell phone from this company telling me to call them back. I received a robocall from this caller stating a different number from the text. I was unable to capture all the numbers from the call. But decided to call the number from the text ************.I talked to ******* and she was rude saying it was a payday loan from Advance America and they were the resolution company. I asked for proof and she stated I can't give you that. I asked for the number of the company and she told me to look it up. The ten said it is your loan and you will have to pay or go to court. I was asking her questions and she was extremely rude. I hung up and called back the next rep said it was a payday loan that was $500 from 2018 and now it was $1,32.79. I asked how can I dispute it and she said that they sent you letters and that you never responded. I stated that I never received any information sent to my mailing address. I never had a payday loan in 2018. I was trying to get a house, so why would I take out any payday loan?

Direct Recovery Solutions called about a debt that they couldnt provide details on when asked. They managed to have the last 4 of my ssn and mention a cash advance. I told ******* I owe no one anything and have no idea what you are talking about. I also asked to not be called and send any correspondence in the mail that you claim I owe. ******* says its already in collections, no further details given. I was hung up on at that point. I called back multiple times trying to get answers and reps would answer then hang up on me when asked what is going on. The number they called me from was ************. They asked me to call a different number of ************.
