7/20/23 we received a quote from MCI for vertical blinds for 2 windows; cost $339, $209, and install $239. We placed the order on 8/4/23 and paid by credit card. After 4 weeks' wait, the blinds were installed by 2 workers. Contrary to the order, the blinds on the large window were installed with the cords on the right, instead of the left. Also, the vanes on the smaller window were installed in the wrong direction. Email communication with T. M., MCI *************** informed him of the error in installation; pictures were sent; and we waited to find out if this was a manufacturer's error or installer. A single installer returned and flipped the vanes on the smaller window. We were informed that the large window could be changed to left side cords for an additional labor charge of $80. Although we did not feel that we should have to pay that charge since we did not get what we ordered, we had to pay that charge at the store if we wanted it right. When we made the payment, we were charged the $80 + $6.50 in tax. We were also told that it would be a 2-person job to make the change. When the correction actually occurred on 10/9/23, it was 1 person who came and completed the job in 10 minutes.The original cost of installation was more than the cost of the smaller window blind. We believe we should not have had to pay for the installation correction ($80), let alone the tax ($6.50) that was added to the charge.We are pleased with the product, but are displeased with the installation difficulties.Business response

We are sorry to hear that they are upset with the installation and are willing to return the ***** to them. We will write a check to them on 10/23/2023.
