Location: ******************** had appliances installed with this company and they chipped my countertop and damaged my cabinets. I reached out the company and they offered me $200 to fix the countertop but that is not sufficient.

As indicated in this complaint Appliance Discounters installed a dishwasher for the customer.   Upon completion of the installation the Formica countertop sustained a small chip on the front edge where it meets the underside of the countertop.  As with all older, brittle Formica countertops, chips can occur in this same area due to the steam omitted during the operation of older dishwashers.  Over time this will weaken the structure of the countertop.   Because of this small chip Appliance Discounters offered a fair allowance in the amount of 200.00.  We also had a contactor come to his home at no charge to customer and provided options if he chose to replace his countertop and still obtain the allowance offered.  The customer expressed interest in replacing the countertop with Corian but was never told AD would be responsible for this if he decided to upgrade his older countertops.  Since the allowance was offered the customer has engaged in harassing our employees and even relatives of our employees with false accusations.

Appliance Discounters would be happy to send customer the $200.00 settlement offer we extended in September.   This will be sent to the address listed on the complaint.  Appliance Discounters takes pride in the work we do while inside a customer's home.  Unfortunately, this customer does not feel this was accomplished.  We have many customers who find our services to be top notch and professional.   I do find it odd that all of the issues customer is now describing as occurring from our installers was never mentioned in his previous complaint or to the employees of our company when discussing the issue of the old countertop being chipped.   Appliance Discounters are glad that this issue has been resolved.

My husband and I commissioned CNR Homes to build a home In the State of IL, Village of ****** In 2023. From the month of November until the delivery of our Appliances, I had been in contact with the builder and the their Appliance company (Appliance Discounters, ********************* Location). Communicating by phone, email and text with ************************* the appliances we wanted in our newly built home. We closed on the 7th of March and moved in on the 9th of march 2024. While reviewing all of our Appliances we noticed the top of our brand new Range had a lot of defects, I called CNR about the defects and we were instucted to contact ******* at their ******************* ************* asked me to send him pictures, then he asked me to facetime him so he can see the top of the range. I asked him to pick the range up and replace with a new one at the same price. ******* told me this was an easy fix and he would get right on it. this range costed us $1,420.96 I was then instructed to send him the ** and M#, I did as instruced. I received a call from ************* on the 26th of March stating that wasn't the correct S/M#, we both had a hard time locating the numbers he needed, he inturn said he would call me back once he could find the correct numbers, he called back with where I could find the #'s sent the to him. Because, this is a company my builder use I trusted them as well. I reached out to him again in May and he said he would check into it. so now we are in August still no correction reached out to ******* on August 2, 2024, requesting a new range, he told me they don't do that and then he implied that it was my responsibility to stay in touch with him. I told him he had it twisted, its his responsibility to make this right and I hung up on him. At this point I want a refund of the $1,400 + I paid for the range.

************************* received delivery in March.  A few days later, she contacted the store and said there were scratched on the surface, near the burners.  We told her that we would order her a new cooktop for the range, at no cost to ************.   She agreed to this!  When A.D. ordered the cooktop for the range, there was a delay.  This is a normal issue with manufacturers, due to the supply chain on appliance parts.  Due to the extended delay and no eta from the manufacturer, we then ordered the part from another parts distributor.  Appliance Discounters did this at the increased cost to A.D. and no extra cost to ************.

The part arrived to A.D. last week.  A.D. contacted ************ with an install date.

Somehow I missed this this email. I was contacted by the business (Appliance Discount), they wanted to get the part to fix the problem with the range. After speaking with my husband he said, he did not want any more dealing with this company because of the way ****** spoke with me over the phone (I had the phone speaker on). ***** (my husband) want the range remove from our home and a refund issued so we can purchase a new range.

      Thank you

The stove was delivered without any damage.  The customer called a few days later about "scrub" marks on the cooktop.  If there were scrub marks, Appliance Discounters would not have caused that.  We did not question these "scrub" marks!  We ordered a new cooktop part for the stove.  ******* was not rude to customer!  The phone at ********************** was also on speaker and the other employees heard the conversation.

Appliance Discounters ordered a replacement cooktop, at our expense and it's ready for install when the customer decides to call to make an appointment!

When they brought it out the first time, it had a scratch on it and I told them I didn't want it.  It was about 6 inches long in the left corner of the washer.  *****, a rep from this company, took a picture of it and he asked did I want it and I said nope send it back.  I paid for a new washer with no scratches on it.  I bought a washer from them that does not work. It did not come with a clip so the water wasn't draining properly and the legs were missing so it were off balance. There was water at the bottom of the machine. I called the manager and told him that I didn't want this anymore and I needed my money back. He brought me over a new GE washer and I tried to wash a load of white and all it did was spin for 18 min with no water. the clothes were never wet.

I have a few issues with H3431363733**37313336H. They came out about 6 weeks ago to take a look at my dishwasher because the door was broke. They said they would order me a new one and install it correctly. Since then I&#**;ve tried calling to follow up on this but can&#**;t reach anyone. I also have an issue with the light on my stove not turning off after the burners are cooled down. In addition, I&#**;m supposed to a get a refund of $200 for all the H313236**343235363737Hs I&#**;ve purchased but haven&#**;t received it.

Regarding the complaint from client.  Appliance Discounters received the part from the supplier and did the service repair as requested by the client.  We are not aware of any further issues and client was satisfied.  Service tech found no issue with the range and explained the safety options with this range and how the hot glass indicator light works to prevent accidental injury due to the hot surface.  The $200.00 rebate had been processed thru the manufacture and the client should be receiving any time.  Appliance Discounters will make sure this rebate is issued to the client once the process is complete.
