      I went in to order a new smart watch. We got everything setup and was told I needed to make a down payment on the taxes. I agreed to pay on the taxes, they told me I needed to pay a minimum of $40 and then pay the rest when the watch came in. I received my bill from ******* and it showed that none of the taxes had been paid. I asked for a receipt, and on the receipt it said my $40 was paid to "setup for success." I asked ******* about this charge and they said some stores could charge a set up fee for phones. I told them that it was a watch and no setup was needed and that I never agreed to this charge. They stated they could not do anything thing about the charge from a third party store. The charge they put on there was never discussed and they fraudulently stated that it was for taxes. I never agreed to fees for any kind of set up, especially when no set up is needed. They have committed fraud by mis representation of charges.

      ***************,Thank you for reaching out to us regarding your experience at our store. We are sorry for any miscommunication regarding fees for devices. The $40 setup for success fee does not solely cover setting up a device. It is a charge for setting a device up on the ******* network, making sure it is activate and ready to utilize when the customer leaves the store. It is for making sure the payments for the devices and any promotions are setup and that in the case of the watches, a number share is setup to make sure that the watch is functioning properly. The fee does come back to you in the form of an in-store accessory coupon 30 days after purchase. We again apologize for any miscommunication regarding the fees for devices and hope we can provide you with a more pleasant experience in the future.
