1 starWent to discuss an appraisal from ***** bluebook.. the person who checked my car decided to smoke a cigarette in it during the test drive or during the inspection process so my asthmatic toddler had to breath is yucky cig smoke for 40 mins on the way home. They also lied about multiple errors with my car that the ********** dealer deemed inaccurate all to take 2k off of the kbb price.. **** is awful and honestly the sales assoc were smoking weed out front the whole place reeked of weed. Its sad because i actually thought frank leta did better than that; when I called to complain the master mechanic that checked out my car laughed in my face and told me he didnt smoke in my car when theres was obvious ashes on the seat and outside the window. This place needs to be shut down asap. The lady i spoke to was so nice tho. Front desk helpful. The men need a reality check.Review fromArlene O

1 starAt the end of November I went in to just discuss the offers available. I was very clear at the start that I wasn't looking to buy at the moment, just gather information. While my sales associate was excellent, his manager was extremely pushy. I understand how sales works but it made me very uncomfortable. I left a deposit for $200 dollars to hold the finance deal because I needed time to consider my finances and whether I wanted to take on a new car loan at the moment. I was told that if I reconsidered, all I had to do was reach out and the deposit would be refunded back to me. I decided not to purchase the vehicle and called the very next day. I was told the finance department would be advised to process the refund. A week passed with nothing. Now I work in an industry where we process refunds daily so I understand the sorts of things that could hold up a refund so I gave it a full business week before reaching back. Nothing had been done. I was told by the sales associate that he handle it. I emailed after the phone call to document the conversation. Another two weeks passed and I made another call attempt, this time to the finance department. Their phone IVR is a joke. Every time I called, I had less than a minute in the queue, but after 14 seconds (yes I actually counted down), it would send me to voicemail. I've probably left 10 voicemails since Christmas and the one time I got a call back unfortunately I was on a work call and couldn't answer. I called back within 2 min and got the voicemail again.I've called yet again, understanding that with the holidays things happen but I'm pretty fed up. I am not the sort to lightly leave bad reviews but this is getting ridiculous. I'm highly considering choosing another place when I do decide to buy a new car if this is the sort of service I can expect. Buying a car is a major expense and if this is the response I get from them over $200, what can I expect if something serious was to occur?Review fromglennon R

1 starI bought a car in Dec. '23. I can't register it because Frank Leta ********** has still not provided the Manufacturer's Certificate of Origin. I called for months and was continually sent to the ** of someone who never called back. I moved since and left a ** with my new address. No reply. I called again to make sure they got it and left a **. No reply. I left a negative review after I got a ticket for not having my car registered. I got this ticket in Sept. '24, more than 8 months after I bought the car. Not only did I get a ticket, but at this point I am looking at $200 in penalties from the ****A manager contacted me after the review, said he would handle it and the **** stopped with him, etc. On the call I found out that they DID send the form to my old address, after I had moved and after I had called (twice!) to make sure they had my new address. I told him about the ticket and the lawyer for the ticket and the $200 in registration fines. He that they'd take care of that. It was not resolved on that call and after two weeks later of nothing changing, I called to follow up twice with no reply.I did get contacted again and was told they were going to send it out and I would get it by last Wednesday. I waited until the following Wed. to call again and was told that they haven't even sent it yet. I also had to tell him for the third time how they caused me to get a ticket for not having my car registered and how I need to be reimbursed for that. He acted AGAIN like that was the first time I brought it to his attention. It's over 4 weeks since the first time I left a review and I still don't have the paperwork. I've never had an experience like this. It's unreal. It's clear that this absolute contempt for the customer comes from the top down. This is deliberate antagonization at this point. There is no other explanation, except perhaps rank incompetence. Frank Leta ********** will now always be a place to avoid and to warn others about. The absolute worst.Review fromRedell H

1 starGreat selection of cars and a willingness to make deals, but when it comes to titling the car, they dont do what you ask or what they say they will. I bought a 2024 Eclipse Cross here in May, and SPECIFICALLY asked that they transfer my existing plate to the new car. They said no problem. After weeks of waiting, I got brand new plates in the mail. An absolute runaround trying to get someone to answer my calls, finally just went in and waited.Excuse from Frank Leta document specialist was that the plates were expiring in 30 days so couldnt be transferred, which was NOT TRUE WHEN I BOUGHT THE *** AND TOLD THEM I WANTED MY PLATES TRANSFERRED. Ive been back and forth since June 14 with the **** Frank Leta, and the servicer, ********* License. The only certain answer I got was that Frank Leta put the request in the system as a new plate, and that it wouldve been cheaper to transfer the plate. I was charged $316 for a new plate when I should have only been charged $25. If I want to undo this mess, I have to come out another $175 to renew and transfer the old plate. This is my second ********** from them, and I recommend going to a different dealer.Review fromTiara F

If I could give this service zero stars I would. The first date of service was Tuesday 05/28 and I picked my vehicle up on Thursday 05/30. A diagnostic test was ran and the only results were a cylinder 4 coil and spark plugs. Not even 24 hours after picking up my vehicle my service engine light flashed while in idle and my vehicle would shake. I called ***************************, whom was the service manager at the time. I brought my vehicle back for another diagnostic test and it was the fuel injector. I asked him how come the fuel injector didn't read on the first diagnostic test and he explained that the mechanic wasn't looking for it" and the only solution would be to make another appointment. Why should I have to pay for labor twice when the fuel injector should have read on the first diagnostic test? I left a negative review on ****** and ****** contacted me the next day. Not only did ****** admit that it was their fault and that a technician shouldve test drove my vehicle after fixing, he also bribed me to take down my negative review. He waived the labor and part costs for the fuel injector which was fixed last Thursday 06/06. Not even 24 hours later on Friday morning at 5:30 am my service engine light began to flash and my car shaking when in park. The service engine light went away but came back on, and this time my vehicle was driving worse. Along with a rattle sound when the vehicle is in idle. I couldn't contact on Saturday nor Sunday because Frank Leta was closed. I tried contacting ****** on Monday 06/10 and have contacted the operator at Frank **** whom forward a message for ****** to contact me. He has not contacted me and no one has responded back. I absolutely hate that l even went to Frank ************************* in first place. I am out of $565.77 and my vehicle drives very, very poorly. My vehicle is a lot worse condition than the FIRST time. Each time I have taken my vehicle to Frank Leta it comes back worse. Avoid this service center at all costs!!!!Frank Leta Automotive Outlet Inc.

This business lead me to believe that the car I was getting would ride smooth and have no problems although it was used. Maybe 2-3months later the ENGINE gave out.. I promptly had it towed back to the dealership and gave it back. Ive just been informed that it was placed on my credit and that other banks dont want to deal with me because apparently, what frank leta had done was made me a high risk customer. This was a fault of their own so its incredibly rude and unfairFrank Leta Automotive Outlet Inc.

We are sorry to hear about ********************** experience. We don't make high risk customers, they are that way when they arrive to us. We strive to put customers in a better transportation situation than when they came to us. Any issues with a vehicle are addressed and resolved to the best of our abilities. This vehicle was purchased in June of 2020. He recently came back to the dealership on May 22nd 2024 to attempt to purchase another vehicle, for which he was approved and declined the purchase explaining that his insurance was too high. We are willing to work with any situation that a customer may have. We do not feel that this complaint should be a reflection of our service based on the customer refusing the deal because his insurance being too high based on his quote-unqoute high risk status. We wish ****************** the best.Review fromDONNA P

1 starSo, I recently filed a complaint that involves basically a bate and switch situation at the Frank Leta Mitsubishi in Bridgeton, MO. I was lured into the office- (plucked out of my car from the parking lot) letting me know that they have a deal for some car ( starts with a C ) at 2.9% interest, 100.000 mile warrantee. *All said and done , THAT DEAL ended in May........... So, I have been hearing a radio advertisement for this deal still running on the radio now two weeks past the expiration of the deal- NOT EVEN AVAILABLE ANYMORE. I have a 713 credit rating which is an A rating on their chart and was only able to get a 15.9% interest rate. Then they snuck in a 2,500.00 PLUS 500.00 admin fee after I was told it was only 500.00.Review fromChad C

1 starI bought a 2016 **** Fusion for $17,000 with $3,000 down. The first day I had to call them to tell them that the driver side headlight was already out and there were some parts under the hood that weren't mounted and bolted down at all. After that there were still problems with the motor that they wouldn't fix because it wasn't their fault. Recently I had to replace the headlight bulb again so I did it myself and to get the headlight bulb out I had to remove the front bumper and found that everything behind the bumper was broken, cracked, and held with zip ties. The passenger headlight is only mounted with a piece of sheet metal and rivted into the frame. The hood latch is zip tied to be able to work, the passenger A-pillar is cracked, CHUNKS of paint and primer are falling off of the car, none of the body lines actually line up which means the frame of the car is slightly bent somewhere! I DO NOT recommend going to this business or any Frank **** ever!
