The absolute worst. You call and they can never tell you what's covered. Just take it to the dealer and then we'll be able to tell you. $2300 WASTED!!!Buyer Beware!!!!

Paid for a plan for 3 years and 12 services, when it came to my 6th service they only allowed a coverage of $113, no where near the total amount due. This is one month before it expires. Do not by any means use this company

All consumers and businesses should stay far away from this company. I had an extended car warranty and had the worst experience with them. They hanged a tear down cost over me and if they didnt cover it Id have to pay the tear down. They said my head gasket blew because of negligence. I had it towed as soon as it showed signs of overheating. They dont care about you or students. I thought it would give me some peace of mind but there were three times they didnt cover anything. The turbo went out in mine ( the turbo is part of the power train and should be covered in the agreement) but they didnt cover it because it was a piece of the turbo that wasnt covered. They only care about getting out of paying. Theres thousands of loopholes in their contracts so they will get their way. They also dont communicate through email obviously because they dont want to be taken to court because they know that their practice is a scam. So much undue burden was placed on me with the way they conduct business. Completely unprofessional representation as well, one of them yelled at my grandfather for trying to help me. If I was a dealership I would be embarrassed to work with them. The contract is only a couple of pages leaving so much room for them to get out of repairs. Theres really nothing that can perfectly explain how awful their business model and practices are. You probably have a better chance of winning the lottery than you would have them help you.

I filed a GAP claim in 8/24, and it took them till 10/1 to send a check out to my lien holder, and I am still waiting on them to pay my lien holder. I have been told several times the check was sent out but the lien holder never received, I was told they would not stop payment until it had been 30 days, when 30 days was up I called back and they claim they stopped payment but they wait 3-5 days to make sure the stop payment goes through and they will re issue a check, meanwhile I am still making payments. I called back after 5 days they still have not issued another check yet, said they will review and call me back, this company is only about 15 miles from me, I ask if I could come there and pickup the check and take it to my lien holder myself and they said that is not allowed, i feel like they are trying to get out of paying the claim, I will never use this company again or recommend them to anyone. they are terrible to deal with. **** P

Such a frustrating experience! We had back-to-back-to-back car repairs on a car my daughter had just 2 months. This car warranty company paid the first repair, but not the second, which was fine as what was wrong with it was not covered by the contract. We had the third need of repair one week after my daughter got her car back from the shop on the second. The car repair facility reached out to the warranty company and they said they would pay $100 toward a $3,095 repair as they said she had reached her limit having just paid a repair. My daughter found in the contract that it said the limit was $5,000 PER REPAIR and that this was a new repair, so the warranty agent said to resubmit the claim. The amount the warranty company would pay magically went to $200. So we knew they were liable for the repair and we knew they would pay. We hired an attorney who said according to his estimation of the aggregate, we had more than enough money left for them to pay the entire amount of the bill. So we persisted. In the meantime, my daughter is daily taking Ubers, getting rides from friends and riding her bike where she needs to go. This went on for weeks. I cannot tell you the amount of worry and frustration she went through so that this warranty company could get out of paying a legitimate claim. They came back with the aggregate amount they said they were liable for and said we only had $591 left. This is an amount we were NEVER given. Had we known this at first, we would have let the garage make the repair and paid the remainder of the bill. As it turned out, since we hired an attorney, we didn't even get the $591 and ended up paying for the entire repair ourselves and weeks later than necessary. I still think they tried to dodge their responsibility and came up with an aggregate that worked for them. They were awful in every way.

We received a complaint from ******************** attorney, and we responded by explaining that when **************** called in for a claim, she was told that only two hundred dollars, $200.00, would be paid towards the claim. The service contract clearly outlines the limit of liability and the fair calculation process. In this case, the **** actual cash value of the vehicle was nine thousand dollars ($9,000.00) at the time of the last approved claim. The ****'s actual cash value for the current claim is less, at eight thousand seven hundred and seventy-five dollars ($8,775.00). Despite that, the claims team used the prior and higher **** actual cash value of $9,000.00 for the aggregate amount. As **************** had a prior approved claim under the service contract totaling $8,409.00, that claim left her with $591.00 remaining on her service contract for future claims. Therefore, her service contract can only cover $591.00 for her current approved claim. By pointing out the foregoing, AUL and their affiliates do not waive, but specifically reserve, any and all rights and defenses they may have under the service contract and the applicable law. This includes the right to limit the claim payment to the remaining amount on the service contract.

On October 12 and 13, I received emails from Mr. ** in charge of my cancellation, extended warranty, Atlantic Coast Warranty handled through *32313537373037333631* *363633393532393236** that my cancellation was accepted, after sending notarized odometer plus other papers, and receive refund 6-8 weeks. The warranties were added to my finance loan when purchasing a car. The amount, $3;177. $2,178 for one plan, $999 for other. To this date I have received nothing. Mr. * told me check was sent to my bank Nov. 10, 2023. My bank did not receive this. Its now nearly 10 weeks, and they completely ignore me. All I want is my money back, which I have been asking for since September 2023. Its a lot of money to forfeit. As an after thought, this was added to my loan without asking me, as with other expenses not told or shown to me.

DO NOT BUY AN EXTENDED WARRANTY FROM THIS COMPANY. I bought a extended warranty for my 2017 KIA **** hybrid. The dealership and the contract says it covers the **********. The hybrid MCU or hybrid power inverter, a critical element of the hybrid drivetrain went out. This part is covered by the KIA ********** warranty, but Protective removed that expensive part from their "parts covered" fine print in the contract. Sure, they (probably) would cover the hybrid engine or transmission, but not the thing that makes them work, the **** Shame on you Protective, you give good insurance companies a bad name.

Our 2018 ************ Solitude GS310R has a suspension spring failure after a six-week RV trip. I called *** on May 15, 2023, to ascertain whether or not the failure was covered under my extended warranty contract. I was informed that it is a covered component. I informed them that the repair was going to be performed by a reputable dealer that did not file claims with warranty businesses. I asked what I needed to do to ensure reimbursement. I explained that we drove a minimum of 100 with the spring broken and that it wore down the tires, too. *** sent an email on May 15 explaining the procedure. The information did not include a requirement for preapproval after review by a reputable dealer. I called *** on June 8 to verify that we could be reimbursed after paying for the repair. The repair was done on June 21, 2023. I spoke with a *** customer support, to reiterate the claim process and worked with a representative at Spring Works, the repair facility to ensure that we were compliant with requirements. I filed the claim on June 22 based on the information I received. I continued to follow-up with *** on June 22, 29, 30 and July 7 to ensure that all filing gaps in communication were addressed. I was informed on July 10 that the claim was denied because, "I did get preapproval for the repair. I filed the claim on June 22 based on the information I received. I continued to follow-up with *** on June 22, 29, 30 and July 7 to ensure that all gaps in understanding were addressed. I was informed on July 10 that the claim was denied because, "I did get preapproval for the repair. On July 11 a member of the *** Leadership called to affirm that the claim was denied because I did not follow the preapproval requirement of the contract and that it could not be appealed. I consider this fraud on their part. I feel cheated. What can be done?
