This company is a total rip off, this is why I cancelled service with them. Their customer service is just as bad. After they picked up their tank, which had a *************************** it, that I paid $2.20 a gallon for back in February They sent me a statement 2 weeks later stating I had only a $30 credit! There was a charge of & ****** to remove the gas from the tank and they were only giving $1.55 a gallon, which was the cost that day. I was told by the girl on the phone the day I cancelled service that they would send a check for refund, there was no check.I also had paid a rental fee for the tank at the end of March for a year. There was acknowledgment of a partial refund for that.I called September 13th, the day I received the bill, and was told the fee was normal, all companies charge this. Nah! I called one and they do bit charge a fee to remove the gas and they pay the customer back the same amount the customer paid.I also explained to the lady that when I paid the rental fee, it had advised them my husband had passed away and to take his name off the account. She then advised I would need to send a death certificate in, I asked why didnt they tell me this when I advised them. She didnt know. I know everyone else has complained that has canceled with them, about this rip off. And they wonder why they are losing customers.

*******, we are sorry you were dissatisfied with your experience with our company. When a customer with a rental tank asks us to discontinue their service, we have to pump the tank as part of the safety code. The $125 service fee covers our staff's time to pump out and retrieve the tank. As you mentioned, we paid you the daily market rate ($1.55) for the 100 gallons remaining in the tank for a total credit of $155. After subtracting the $125 service fee from the $155 credit, you were left with a $30 credit for the remaining propane. Additionally, we have given you a full refund on your annual tank rental fee of $60. In regard to removing your husband's name from the account, it is our standard practice to require a death certificate to ensure someone is not mistakenly removed from an account. Our staff normally mention this when they are informed of an account ******'s death, but we apologize for the oversight if they did not. We're sorry things didn't work out between us, and we wish you well.

I feel compelled to share my recent experience with MFA Oil's propane delivery service, and unfortunately, it's been nothing short of a nightmare.I've been without propane for a week, patiently waiting for MFA Oil to fit me into their schedule. I understand delays happen, and I've been okay with that. However, today's incident was beyond unacceptable. The delivery truck showed up at my home, and idled in my driveway for a frustrating 15 minutes, only to turn around and leave without delivering any propane. When I called the main office immediately after they left, I was given a baffling explanation. The representative claimed they thought no one was home, attempted to call, and since there was no answer, they chose not to deliver the fuel. Frankly, I find it absurd that I should be expected to keep my phone glued to me just to accommodate their preference for calling instead of a simple knock on the door.To make matters worse, I had stepped outside during their idle time, assuming they had seen me. Tomorrow, I'm left with no choice but to go the extra mile, potentially using flares and cones to guide them in, as if that's a reasonable expectation for a paying customer.I run my own business and had to rearrange my schedule to accommodate their initial delay, and now I'm faced with the same inconvenience for tomorrow. It's disheartening to witness such a lack of empathy and customer service from a ********************** that should prioritize its customers' needs.I cannot comprehend how MFA Oil justifies treating its customers this way. The lack of communication, professionalism, and basic customer care is disappointing and frankly unacceptable. It's disheartening to see a company neglect the very people who contribute to its success.Shame on MFA Oil for its disregard for customer satisfaction and basic decency.

********, we are sorry to hear you were disappointed by your recent experience with our company. We strive to provide exceptional service to all our customers. In this particular case, a leak check was required at your home because the propane tank was empty. You called our office on Friday to get service started. We offered our first available time to conduct the leak check as Wednesday. You said you couldn't wait until then, so we asked if we could do it Monday, but that didn't work for you.

The leak check was scheduled for Wednesday between noon and 4 pm. When our driver arrived at the home you are renting, he stayed in his truck (which is clearly marked MFA Oil - Propane) because of the "Beware of Dog" sign that was posted. While sitting in the driveway, the driver attempted to call you but there was no answer. Our driver then called the office to request that we call from the office number in case you were screening your calls. We tried again with no answer. We then called your landlord, who provided us with another phone number to try, but it didn't work. We then tried calling from a personal cell phone. That call went through but with no answer. We then informed the driver that there was no answer. Considering that there was no luck calling you, no vehicle was visible and there was no sign of you, the driver left because it appeared no one was home and he didn't want to be attacked by a dog while attempting to knock on the door.

When you called the office, you mentioned that you were aware the driver was outside. You asked why he didn't come to the door and we explained that the driver was worried due to your "Beware of Dog" sign. We then explained that we tried calling multiple times with no answer. We ended up rescheduling for the next day.

While we understand your frustration, we hope you understand our driver's fear for his safety and his assumption that you were not home based on the circumstances and our repeated efforts to call you without answer. We made several attempts to call to confirm your appointment and you did not make your presence clearly known to the driver before he left. We are sorry for the confusion.

These people placed a leaky propane tank on my property, and are extremely hostile.
