I purchased hair and a installation last month from this salon. A few weeks later I went to a different hair stylist and was told by 2 other salons I was overcharged by a lot. What should have been around $600, Sew St. Louis charged me $2400. The owner ****** totally took advantage of me not knowing prices and my desperation for hair. Horrible business

This client and I met for 2 separate consultations prior to her service, during which I explained the process in great detail as well as the maintenance involved. She left EXTREMELY satisfied, and even tipped me very generously before leaving us a 5-Star review on ******.(I also have a video of how pleased she was during her original install).I am not sure what salon advised her of pricing, but they are very misinformed.This review is based on inaccurate hearsay. I am sorry she feels as if she was taken advantage of. But, its definitely not at all the case. Taking advantage of people is not in my character. I have a 10-year history of business and satisfied clients that prove otherwise. The service she received was a specialty ************************* Only a certified professional can perform this service. I have 4 certifications. Also, the hair replacement unit we used for this process was a special order that took weeks to arrive. It was quite expensive to purchase, along with the blonde extensions we used. MY supply costs alone exceeded $1,000. In addition, the service took well over 5 hours to complete, not including the 2 consultations we had prior to the installation. I pride myself on my work and my customer service. I would have worked with the client and corrected any issues or cleared up any confusion, had I been informed. However, she never reached out to me, nor did she return my calls or my email. Yet, I am in an unfair situation of being accused of something that was out of my control and that I had no knowledge of.
