•***** came out on May 22, 2023 and gave me an estimate for my leaking water hydrant. Estimate was $600.00. •I was rescheduled for ***** to come and fix it on May 30. •On May 30 ***** called me to let me know he was 15 min away at 7:33a. •***** never came to my front door to make me aware that he was ready to start working. (I was busy getting my kids breakfast so I was unaware he had started to work on the hydrant) •The next time I hear from him is when he calls me from outside and ask me to flip the breaker to the main water at 8:41a. •Shortly after that he tells me to turn the water back on and then tells me that he's going to get the bill. •The bill was exactly $600.00. Just like the quote. I paid it because they expected payment at the time of the work. •The next day I call the company and speak with the owner named ******. I explained my issues with the bill and explain to her that I feel like I was extremely overcharged for 1 hour of manual labor and 1 water hydrant. •She tells me that she will call ***** and get his side of the story and call me back. •She calls me back on May 31 and tells me that the price stands. That they charged me $400.00 for 1 hour of labor and $200.00 for materials. • I request an idamized receipt of everything and instead of working with me ****** gets mad and hangs up on me in the middle of our conversation. •Now due to the owner's lack of cooperation and professionalism. I am reaching out to you to see if you can assist me with this issue.

This customer was given a bid to replace the outside water faucet and agreed to the price and the work being done - so I do not feel that she has a legitimate complaint as she knew what the price was going to be from the free estimate that we gave her previously.

The serviceman called her to let her know he would be there - when he arrived he went straight to work to dig a hole by hand that was approximately 3' deep which cannot be done in one hour as she stated.  He was there almost two hours so our fee's are accurate with what we quoted her.  Furthermore, if this job would have taken longer we still would not have charged her anymore than her estimate was.  AGAIN - SHE WAS QUOTED A PRICE AND WE STOOD BY THE PRICE THAT WAS QUOTED TO HER.

    Complaint: ********

I am rejecting this response because: Here is the time stamps of when ***** was here. He called me at 7:33a to inform me that he would be there in 15 min. Then called me at 8:41am to tell me to turn off my water. Then maybe 15 minutes after  he asked me to turn off the water he was done and writing up the bill. Due to the fact that he did not inform me of when he officially arrived. I have to just assume that he was in fact 15 minutes away from my house.

    Sincerely,

    ***** *****

In 2017 contracted with AA Quick Plumbing & Sewer Services to install a quite expensive septic system at *** ****** **** ****** **. It performed adequately. It required regular maintenance which i paid to have performed. It required service at least 4 times since installation which I considered the normal requirements of this complex system. They offered a maintenance contract which I purchased. in late march or early April i received a invoice for a $400 charge. I researched and determined I paid them about $500.00 over the previous 12 months. I inquired of the firm what the charge was for. The immediate reaction was to acknowledge a billing mistake in that I had paid $200 a few months back toward this same item. I sent the $200 balance to the firm April 12, 2023. Shortly afterwards they informed me they would no longer service my account. My complaint is simply they sold me a approximately $15,000 septic system and now refuse to service it. My sense is they disliked me questioning the service billing.

We are no longer able to service the Festus area due to staffing shortages.  There are other companies in that area that can service this system.
