I purchased a self-defense stun gun from Sabre's store front on ****** on 4/4/2024, and paid $20.98. The stun gun stopped working about 8 months after I purchased it. I followed Sabre's troubleshooting guide for the product, which specifically said to open the product to check the battery. I did that and found there was a broken piece inside. I contacted Sabre to get it replaced, because it has a 2 year warranty. Sabre said they won't honor the warranty because I opened the product, which was what the troubleshooting guide said I should do. I can provide detailed documentation of the instructions I followed, and Sabre's response. This practice is fraudulent, in that Sabre advertises a warranty and then refuses to honor it if the buyer follows Sabre's own troubleshooting guide.

SABRE will replace the unit. I have responded to ************** requesting his shipping address to replace his unit.

The email I sent to Mr. ***** bounced back as undeliverable. I called Mr. ***** trying to resolve the issue by answering his questions and offered to replace the SABRE Crossfire Pepper Gel he had purchased. SABRE offers a warranty against manufacturer defects through the expiration date of the pepper gel. ************** proceeded to curse and use foul language throughout our entire conversation, so I ended the phone call. If Mr. ***** would like SABRE to replace his unit we are happy to do so. He may call ************ and ask for me personally.

They had a pepper spray recall because they were faulty but no way i can tell if my product falls under the recall because the expiration date is put on a cheap label and it wears off over time. They need to print the exp date on the can, NOT the paper label.

I spoke with ************** this afternoon (12/1/2023). He has two cans of SABRE Frontiersman Bear Spray where the labels are very worn and missing on the can. The portion of the label that initially had the expiration date is missing from the canister entirely. ************** is concerned that since he is not aware of the expiration date, he does not know if the canisters are part of the voluntary recall SABRE issued on this product. This recall was issued approximately 2 years ago. We have resolved this issue with ************** by replacing his bear spray with two brand new canisters.
