      Sending an F rating to Perfect Air Heating & Air Conditioning. *** ****** evidently does not know his profession after many years with the company. This was the first company hat I called on 7/29/22 to check on the cooling system. He never once explained anything that he was checking to determine the problem, was overly friendly (watch those type). This was why my gut was telling me to get another opinion. Told me it was the compressor, well that sounded a little suspicious to me since they had put in a new air conditioning unit 4 years ago. (probably did not need replaced) if their units are that unreliable, probably need to try different manufacturers. ****** left that day after putting in 2 lbs of refrigerant, and telling me that it could last a couple days or a couple years. Knowing full well that it was not going to last (lasted 1 1/2 days) and he would try to take me for the price of a compressor. Paid $343 tha day for absolutely nothing. Secretary ***** was supposed to send receipt (did she, No!) very unprofessional. Glad I paid with card. Refund from ******** (owner) would be appreciated.

      Hi *******, 

      After reviewing your complaint I found the invoice from the day that *** was at your home (07/19/22). Upon his arrival he found that your air conditioning system was low on refrigerant. *** performed a leak search and found that the evaporator coil had a leak. After your approval, he charged your system with refrgierant so that you would be comfortable because temperatures were in the high 90's that day. While your condensing was still under a parts warranty because it was replaced 4 years ago, your evaporator coil was not. We have never had anyone complain about our technicians being "overly friendly." Our technicians are some of the most genuine people, and our regular customer base would agree. You were billed an $89 diagnostic fee, $182 for a leak search + one pound of refrgierant, and $75 for an additional pound of refrgierant. My research shows that this pricing is right in line with the rest of the heating and cooling contractors in ********* County. If you would have reached out to us when your A/C stopped working again we could have made arrangements to replace the evaporator coil on an emergency service call and you would have been back up and running. Unfortuantely, we had not heard anything from you regarding this service call until we received this complaint. As far as the invoice goes, we are a paperless company. This means that in an effort to be more sustainable, we send invoices via email to our clients. We only send paper copies of invoices through the mail upon special request from the client. We feel that it is unfair and slightly suspicious for you to post this review without even calling to let us know of your concerns. We will be contacting you soon to issue a refund and dissolve our business relationship with you.
