**** *******, the owner of RNI construction, talks a great game, but cannot do the work. He’s cost me at least $35k in repairs, unfinished work, and materials never purchased. He’s quick to cash a check, make up answers to questions he doesn’t actually know, and lie directly to your face. I’ve never deal with anyone as unscrupulous as ****. I’m currently working with his insurance and attorney to attempt to recoup some of the horrific mess he’s made. He took advantage of the fact I a single woman and new to the area. An exceptional conman. Do not use him!

BUYER BEWARE!! DO NOT HIRE this company. The contractor took my money and ran. He cashed the down payment check for $750, made numerous promises to do the work, then disappeared. He talks a good game but left me hi and dry. He stopped taking my calls and never did the work. I am a disabled senior citizen. He took advantage of me.

I would never recommend him for a job of any type. He has a real line of ** but his work is terrible.

Ok, so we had a lot of issues with **** from lying to his lack of construction knowledge. The goal of this is to protect people as we did only end up losing $1,000 but the impact it has had on our family has been substantial.First off, **** ***** pull any St. Louis County permits and when asked if we had an inspection lined up, lied to us and said it was happening the following week. When I called St. Louis County directly, they advised me that there had in fact been no inspection scheduled but **** ***** even submit drawings. He was just going to close it up and try to sneak it past us.Secondly, the work. Lets just say we had another contractor (friend of ours) come out and line out 25 things that were against code/wrong. He actually fit it in his schedule to come out that week because he get our familys life could be at risk due to the load barring wall falling (yikes!!!). Further more, **** cut a LIVE electrical wire and left it without us knowing. Our electrician said it could have started a fire easily that night and burned down our house.Finally, I do want to say that **** did discuss these issues and work with us on refunding the deposit. Most contractors would have taken the money and run but **** is a very nice guy, just needs to refine his skills/time management before working on another job. I just want to make sure you dont make the same mistake we did. Please find another contractor or be prepared to go way past your timeline and have poor work that could put your family at risk.
