  Great people to work with. Very fair pricing compared to other foundation repair companies in the area. I'm talking tens of thousands of dollars savings. Hard, on time workers.

  Smouse Brothers just finished foundation and attic work on our house. the workmanship and professionalism of the crew was welcomed. Like a lot of things in homes additional problems can surface as work begins. Unless they had spent a couple of days removing items covering up other problems there was no way to know when they were quoting. We had engineers out and Smouse Brothers followed the engineering plans and in fact they were the only quotes we received that where the contractor could actually read the engineering plans. We had a replacement beam installed in our attic. Full 36ft beam was replace in crawl space along with additional beams and piers installed per Engineering plans. Installed drain tile, sump pump, and vapor barrier. Took longer because of the extra work but I would highly recommend them for any foundation work. They obviously know what they are doing.

  Great quote process, super employees, quality work, professional, punctual, Half the price of the big out of state companies, no complaints at all!!! I would recommend them to anyone!!!

  I had a very positive experience with this company, from the quote stage to the finished project. Since I had next to no knowledge on how to fix my issue, this company could have easily taken advantage of my ignorance and sold me a lot of work that I didn't need. Instead, I was told that my quoted price was probably too high and would be adjusted when the project was finished. True to their word, the job ended up costing me 37% less than originally quoted. The workers were courteous, professional, and cleaned up after they were finished. I would definitely recommend this company!

  I want to describe my experience with this company:I had structural crawlspace work done last January, which included installing a beam to support a sagging floor. I've been doing work on and off in the crawlspace myself and noticed recently how poorly the beam piers are supported. The pictures show that the precast pier pads are stacked atop loose rocks, not on solid ground or preferably on a concrete base.This is incredibly poor work. This is absolutely inadequate and they should be ashamed of their work practices. Literally, my grandma could have done a better job putting this system together. The best part? I was charged over $1600 for this garbage! If a company is going to do trash work, don't charge for quality work. Now I am having to pay for a second contractor to get the job done correctly. I'll never use these clowns again.

  The work stated above was completed 1/19/21. From your pictures, it appears that the pier pads were not installed correctly. At no time in the year and a half since we did the work, Have you reached out to our office with a concern. There was no mention in the post if the beam had sagged any because of how the pier pads were installed. But we warranty our work and a correction can easily be made at no cost to you by simply reaching out to us when there is a concern as stated in the warrenty. The file for who did the install can be pulled so we can address the issues with how it was installed incorrectly in house. Mistakes can be corrected and if we know there's a concern for possible mistakes we will correct them.
