I was there Friday to buy some brakes. I needed a tool for installation. The tool was $18. I gave them a $20. I went back the next day and a guy asked if I still had the tool, because they have it for a lower price. I returned the tool and purchased the brakes that were $20. He was to credit it to the brakes but did not. I gave them $20 plus dollars. I left without receiving my credit. I went up there today and the owner did not want to refund me nor speak with the guy that should have credited me for the return. The owner cursed at me and told me to leave his store.

    Business response

    11/28/2022

Our business had 3 transactions with Mr. *******. One on 11/18/2022, Second on 11/19/2022 and Third on 11/21/2022.  In the first transaction Mr. ******* asked for a brake tool.  I showed him one and he wanted it.  I did not bill him out but one of my employees did while I was watching.  Mr. ******* gave us $20.00 as shown on a copy of the invoice and received $1.07 change.

The second transaction was on 11/19/2022.  Mr. ******* came in for a set of rear brakes.  Mr. ******* wanted the brakes we priced him and returned the tool he had purchased the previous day along with purchasing a cheaper version of the tool that had come in that day.  The invoice will show that he received credit for the tool returned and was charged for the brakes and tool he wanted to purchase.  The balance was $19.69 and he gave us $20.00.  He received $.31 change.

The third transaction was on 11/21/2022.  Mr. ******* returned the second tool he had purchased and was refunded $9.40. Before receiving the $9.40 Mr. ****** said he had not received his change on 11/19/2022.  At that point I told Mr. ******* we were not going there that was 2 days ago.  At that point he wanted me to have the person that waited on him on the 19th to come to the counter.  He was told that was not possible because the employee was on his way to California.  While I was having this conversation with Mr. ******* one of my employees was handing Mr. ******* his refund for the returned tool.  When my employee asked Mr. ******* to sign the refund slip he refused.  He said I am not signing nothing.  At that point the turned to leave and started cussing us.  At this point I asked Mr. ******* to leave and never come back we did not want his business.  At that point he stated he was going to put it all over facebook.

I will not be refunding Mr. ****** additional money.  The invoices show what he was to receive and he did.
