Please never go here or waste your money with them!! Theyll lie about all this great coverage just to get you paying. Then its impossible to get the policy cancelled I wanted it gone the first 30 days and they forced and said my dealership says I need it when in reality never did no legal documents saying that. And they will for real argue with you call you stupid for trying to make a better decision and go somewhere else. Ive been trying to get my pro rated refund Ive talked to atleast 6 different people all rude and argumentative and no help with telling me what I need only one guy helped when I lied and acted like a customer wanting a policy

This is a complaint. when I first bought my car this summer, I got a paper in the mail that demanded me to set up a plan to help my car be protected and I set it up because I thought that would be the right thing to do, wrong. I been paying for this plan for a few months now and finally realized that its a waste of money and now I am want a refund. I never even got it use it, and if I were to there is still money you have to pay even when your paying for the plan in whole anyways. you shouldnt have to spend a ***** when your already putting so much into it!

To Whom It May Concern, On August 23, 2024, you reached out to us regarding the Redline coverage for your 2019 KIA ****** Our activation specialist provided a comprehensive explanation of the coverage you were considering and addressed all your inquiries thoroughly. It is important to clarify that there was no pressure from our side to proceed with the contract; you were also informed that cancellation was an option available to you at any time. When you decided to cancel the policy on October 21, 2024, the cancellation was processed as requested, but unfortunately, there was no refund available due to time after your 30-day monetary guarantee. You were advised that your final payment was completed on September 23, 2024, and that you didnt need to make the payment for October.Although the coverage was not utilized during the two months it was active, it is essential to understand that any form of insurance operates on the principle of risk management, where payments are made to safeguard against potential future issues with your vehicle. Any policy can continue to be paid for without being utilized. This ensures that coverage is readily available when it becomes necessary. Your policy included a $100 deductible, which would have been applicable in the event of a repair. Your monthly premium was slightly over $100, structured to be paid over a period of 23 months for a total of four years of coverage. Regrettably, at this time, we are unable to issue a refund. Should you have any further questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out to our customer service team at **************. Your understanding of this concern is highly valued and want to thank you for your time, ******* ******

These people mailed me about my car warranty saying its expired and making it seem like I needed it and was urgent. I say that because it says things like URGENT and TIME SENSITIVE or something like that. But I wouldve been fine without it, I only got it thinking I needed it because of the mail that I got and the sales agent saying that it was a good deal. I told the sales agent that I dont know much about cars, so he guides me through the process. Nowhere throughout the process did he ask me if I had a salvaged title. I didnt even know what that was to be honest, again really dont know anything about cars or the different kind of titles. The sales agent then sold me a warranty that doesnt apply to salvaged titles. He didnt ask me if I had one, he shouldve, then he couldve sold me the right warranty. I found out once I tried to use it and found out nothing is covered. I called to ask for a refund, a **** named ******(I think) answered and was surprised that the sales agent didnt ask me because she told me they were supposed to ask if my car was a salvaged title. I asked for a refund and they wont give me a full refund, only a prorated refund even though the warranty wasnt applicable nor could I even use it. ****** was cool tho, she really did try to help. But the next **** ****** (supervisor I think) was nasty, she told me it was 100% my responsibility and that its my fault that I didnt mention my car has a salvaged title. Which I kind of get. But the first **** told me the sales agents are supposed to ask if the cars are salvaged title, while ****** basically said s**** that, its youre fault and its not the fault of the company. I asked ****** during our convo that wouldnt it be fair to say that its not common knowledge for a good number of people to not know if theyre car is a salvaged title or not. She agreed, then after a little while proceeded to tell me why theyre not at fault and its %100 my fault. This company is predatory and *****.

To Whom it May Concern,I would like to start by saying that we sincerely apologize that you are unhappy with the outcome on the type of refund you will be receiving. You received one of our mail advertisements referring to our coverage plans, and the notice you received refers to your factory coverage on your ****** Outback, which states it was expired at 5 years, and this is why we would have mailed it out to you. It would then indicate verbiage based on being clear that we are unable to cover any major preexisting conditions which our plans do not cover. This is so customers are unable to set up a coverage with a current repair needed on the car to eliminate a future concern due to it not being covered but then attempting to the claim anyway. If you would have been fine without the coverage, you could have declined the offer given to you when you called initially. Your vehicle identification number didnt indicate a salvage title was present in the system, so it didnt notify the agent to ask. When he asked if there were any issues with the car itself you stated the Rear Auto Brake System may have an issue later but was later verified in the conversation that it would not be covered on the Powertrain Gold Plan you purchased nor was there a light on, so the agent proceeded with the offer. When you tried to make a claim on your car and informed us at about the same time, it was discovered that you had a salvaged title and that's when we were also informed. You were made aware that the ****** Outback you bought had a salvaged title when you purchased it from the dealership. You were informed by customer service that the refund would be prorated at this time, and while it is understandable that you were not happy with the response, no one here spoke to you in a way that implied who was at fault. In addition, we will waive the $100 cancellation fee because of the circumstances.Although we value a consumers opinion, stating that we are predatory seems undependable based off the prorated refund decision made to you is only due to us abiding by the terms of the contract and doesnt seem to be a proper term based on what we offer in our coverage plans, but this decision is what we are able to offer you at this time. We would like to refer you to the terms of your contract regarding a salvaged title. If you have questions regarding this matter, please contact customer service at **************.Thank you

One of the customer service representatives hung up on me in the middle of speaking. Absolutely ridiculous company. Also make sure you for sure cancel your warranty because they will do everything in their power to keep your money and try to keep you under them.

To Whom it May ************* on the review of the concerns to be addressed you did call our customer service department five different times which you held anywhere from 28 seconds to 2 minutes and 37 seconds and then were disconnecting the call before anyone could answer, so unfortunately when you were calling back you were placed back in the beginning of the queue, so we apologize you weren't able to hold. You were able to successfully cancel on your 5th call which was completed within 4 minutes and 19 seconds so we are perplexed on what this review would be pertaining to, but your account is canceled and you will be receiving the reimbursement as stated on August 5, 2024, within 7-10 business days. Thank you.

To Whom it May *********** contacted our company to obtain information on the information you received in the mail. The representative went over what we were able to offer you regarding extended coverage on your 2015 ********** Passat. He explained you may take your vehicle back to the dealership if you prefer for all your repairs or any repair facility of your choice. You discussed numbers for payments and agreed to set up the coverage. You were told there was a waiting period of 30 days and ***** miles and you attempted to use the service on day number 16. You did call in to cancel with customer service and the activations department advised you that customer service could help you out with that, however the agent informed you of the number ************** and that they were closed between 12:30PM-1:30PM for lunch and you proceeded called at 12:32PM, 12:33PM, 12:34PM, 12:36PM, & 12:38PM. Of all those times customer service wasnt open during their lunch break. Even the Lunch prompt tells you when we reopen the phones. There was no refusing of cancellation. We will cancel and refund your account in full in the amount of $50 out of $201 of your down payment. We apologize this coverage does not cover preexisting conditions. Thank you for your time.

To Whom it May ********** sincerely apologize that you felt terrible about the service that you received. It appears all the correspondence you are referring to in your review is through Royal ******************************** and claims department and not Lariat Automotive Group. You contacted us per phone and purchased a policy for your 2012 ******** on November 20, 2020. Your total contract price was $3,530.00 and at this time you are entitled to your prorated refund with an early termination. Upon investigating the phone number ************ provided at the time of inception and found that there were no calls made to Lariat Automotive Group on or past February 21, 2022, from that number. We also contacted the ******************** claims department requesting all claims requests and phone calls associated with your contract number CNR002704. It was reported by ********************s Claims department that no claims have been filed. They did however state you called in and spoke to a representative in customer service on July 5, 2022, but not regarding any claim, and no other phone calls after that from the same number listed previously. If you have any further questions regarding this matter, please contact our customer service department at **************. Thank you.

To Whom it May *********** contacted us by phone to set up coverage on June 10, 2024, indicating to our activations specialist that you had coverage you previously set up and after careful consideration with the information provided to you with what we were able to offer, you chose to go with our plan instead of the one you previously had. As a company we will never deny someone to set up a policy with us if that is what the consumer chooses to do. We also do not demand you keep our policy either. You called in on June 24, 2024; to confirm the monthly payment plan and amount and we havent heard from you since then. Although this is a competitive 3rd party contract industry, we dont fault you or any other consumer if they choose to cancel their account either. If you would have given us the opportunity, we would have gladly cancelled you out as we are now with this being your first cancel request to date. To confirm your concerns with a cancel request we investigated all calls from the number ************ and did find you attempted to call in to customer service on July 8, 2024, but didnt hold long enough for anyone to answer and then submitted your fallacious review. We will be sending your full refund by honoring the call-in on July 8, 2024, due to you being within your 30-day review period. Thank you for your time.

This service is terrible it is a 100% complete scam and nothing will be covered no matter how much money you spend with this company or if everything checks out on your end.

To Whom it May *********** contacted us and set up coverage through Lariat Automotive Group on April 26, 2024, on your vehicle. You purchased a 5-year 60,000-mile Enhanced Powertrain Plan. The agent went over the covered components listed in the contract through ********************* In your review you stated, Nothing will be covered no matter how much money you spend. Having the coverage for 53 days doesnt make a difference if the repair facility you chose couldnt verify there was any failure to the engine. ******************** reported they requested a teardown to provide any failure has occurred and you refused it because a repair facility needs teardown authorization from the customer before one is completed. Therefore, ******************** will not repair anything that isnt failed based only off a recommendation or suggestion of the repair facility. We do not handle claims at Lariat Automotive Group, which means we do not pay out claims either. That process goes completely through the administrator directly and they reported this claim for not being able to provide a failure to the engine and will remain closed. We can, however, cancel your policy and send you your prorated refund at this time. Thank you.

To Whom it May ************* further review we have 3 recorded phone calls where you had spoken to each representative regarding the cancellation of your policy. Your 2nd call requested to speak to a manager, you then asked the manager to cancel the policy, the manager stated your account was cancelled at that time. You requested an email for confirmation of cancellation that was sent to ********************************* Your 3rd call was to verify with the same manager that you would get a full refund, you were advised within 30 days yes after would be prorated.
