We moved into our home in February 2020. We paid these contractors 17.5k to remove an old boiler and to put a new system in that will heat our home. Since they finished their work we have had multiple problems including the heat not working in 10 degree weather or less. We will call or text and get ignored. When we do get a reply they say they will be here and never show up. Some times their excuse is "oh man i forgot" "oh man we will get it taken care of" The last time they showed up, ******* said he had forgot to turn one of our systems off so water was running through it consistently all summer and it broke the system. They were suppose to repair it because it was their fault and we had a warranty. They never showed up. If it is under 35 degrees our home does not go above 63 degrees. They have lied, manipulated, and let my family suffer in the cold including my newborn. Attached is an instance where we were continously ignored so I had to message them on ****** maps.

Customers in this complaint are not use to maintaining boiler. Didn’t know that every fall before the cold the boiler must be serviced accordingly, and make sure pressures are right to work properly. We did miss one schedule appointment, but I came right out that weekend and burped every radiator and service the boiler and got them up and running. This is the last line of heard from them. Cornelius Contracting didn’t know there was an issue until now we have tried to reach out with no response Our hands are tied! We would be more than happy to come out once again, and figure out what is going on and what the complaints are, and make the customer happy.

    Complaint: ********
I am rejecting this response because: We have multiple messages from the business saying they need to reschedule or ignored us all together that we will be happy to submit. ******* admitted to not turning off one of our systems so water continuously ran through it and it broke the system. They were suppose to replace it and have not. We have maintained the system exactly like this company told us to. If we have a problem we call them right away and hope they answer. This has been an issue since we moved in and will provide all call logs and text messages. The company can contact my husband, who they have been talking to, and fix the situation.
    Regards,

On 5/16/2022 we contracted with ******* the owner of Cornelius Contracting HVAC to have a new a/c, furnace, and some return air ducts and vents to be installed. He installed them and immediately we experienced problems. The first furnace that he installed was dented up and the blower motor was damaged he installed it anyway. After installing it, it caused the breakers to start blowing repeatedly. He came out and found that a part was defective. He installed a new part. Then we started to experience water drainage problems from the unit. He came out to fix this problem and I told him I would prefer to have another new furnace installed. He then decided to just get a new furnace unit and remove the one he already installed and reinstall a new one. Upon installing the new unit, he scratched up our wood floor bad. He also installed three return air ducks and cut out some return air vents throughout the home. At first the unit would not get our home cooled down past 74 degrees and ran constantly. When it became cold enough to need the furnace it ran constantly and would short cycle over 40 times an hour. This has caused our electric bills to be over 600.00 dollars for each month of November and December. We contacted ******* about the situation and he said he would be out on Tuesday or Wednesday of the following week to look at it. The following week had come and gone he did not show up. We tried to contact him but could not get ahold of him. He is not retuning our calls. And has stopped responding. We had to contract another HVAC company. Upon them showing up they wouldn’t even work on it. They said the furnace installed should not have been install in a manufactured home because of the size of our duck work. The wiring was not up to code and a fire hazard. Metal work was wrong. Drainage line was not installed correctly. Not registered for warranty. The only way for us to fix these problems is to have another furnace installed at the cost of 7500.00.
