1 starNear use Edward Jones investments they are ripoffs and will steal your money my son died in a accident 2 years ago and I have been trying to get his money back since his death and Edward Jones keeps giving me the run around telling me now that the corporate office is not issuing the check due to 22 cents. Now I have had enough of the stalling and really am fed up with everything I tried calling the agent ***** but he is no help. ***** the accounts manger called on April 1 and told me that the check would be issued in two weeks Now its almost a month now and no check. I called ***** **** today and he said the check was being held up over 22 centsReview fromDawn A

I have had accounts with Edward Jones in 2005. The *** is communications. I have moved across the country and moved my accounts to be close to me. I love that there is an EJ office everywhere that I have moved to. Each branch team is different is how they do things, but once I learned how they preferred for communication, and they learned what I needed for support our relationships have been fine. There is no crystal ***** nobody knows what the market / economy is going to do. They listen to my investment concerns. They are helping me plan and save toward my retirement with success. **** AEdward Jones

1 starMy parents trusted ***************************** (JP) at Edward Jones (EJ) in ******, ** for many years, but when they died in 2021 he proved to us that he is, at best, a bumbling fool, and at worst, a criminal. We have filed an official complaint with EJ that was quickly denied because ** appears to implicitly trust everything their employees say and refuses to accept that the client might be correct. ** abruptly walked away from his EJ office in 2022. We are suspicious he was coming under scrutiny and chose to quit before that could happen. We have since learned that he did not place my parents accounts (accts) into their revocable trust even though we took all of the trust materials to him in person after it was established in 2017. My father passed away on 11-11-21 and my mother passed away on 12-25-21, ****** was immediately informed of her death. We delivered the death certificate in mid January. According to EJ records, ** did not report to EJ that my mother had passed away until Feb. 1 and he neglected to file her death certificate with EJ until March 16. He routinely avoided phone calls from us as the accts continued to be used to buy and sell. He did not begin to open the accts to disperse the money from my parents estate until May. There were several unpleasant conversations where he attempted to coerce myself and my brother into leaving our share of the estate with him. We had no choice but to sign documents that clearly stated he would be "advising" on our accts for a fee. He told us that our siblings would not get their money until we signed. We are now attempting to file a secondary complaint as trustees but cannot access any of the documents from the estate accounts through EJ because JP never legally connected them to the Trust. We had a POA over the accts prior to our parents deaths but that, of course, expired upon their death. We have estimated a loss of approx. $30k from the estate during the time that passed and we hold E Jones responsible.Review fromGary L

1 starEdward Jones charges high fees and offers no fiduciary services. Every effort I made to move my money to Fidelity was tedious. After several calls to local branch and corporate, every effort was made to deny completion of a transfer. Actual account numbers are hidden on online transactions.Local Advisor was unresponsive. Corporate help line was unresponsive and forwarded all requests to another department where no one took the call.Review fromDanielle K

2 starsI inherited my father's Edward Jones *** in 2020 and legally, it must be cashed out within 10 years. In December of 2021, it was at it's highest and I made a request to cash out. My request was rejected and they indicated it should be left in there to accumulate more wealth. It dropped after that and has never recovered to that amount. It might be different if I could wait a long time, but again, this has to be cashed out within 10 years. I'm just very frustrated that my request was rejected. I'm actually very apprehensive about trying again because I'm sure they will try to coerce me into keeping my account with them longer. I could've gotten a lot more from my money if I had cashed it out into a moderate savings account. I feel like this was a shady coercion and I'm not happy with this company.Review fromAshley W

1 starI was fired from a job that I held for 8 years after disclosing a recent diagnosis of anxiety and depression. Two years prior, I suffered through a major bout of depression and sadly, my work suffered. Half way through my second year of suffering, I was asked if I would like some help. I graciously agreed, but the help I "received" was not what I was hoping or expecting. I spent another six months being criticized for everything I had done wrong despite my recent diagnosis. All I was told regarding my diagnosis was "I am so glad you're getting help", but I was never offered anything substantial other than "tips and tricks". When I stated I was using the recommended "tips & tricks" I was then told that I'm wasting time adding this extra step and how I should be utilizing my resources. I asked what other resources I could utilize and I could not get an answer other than the current resources I was already utilizing. When I started with the company in 2016, the focus was all about being a family and working together, now the focus is on making everyone get designation and acronyms that mean nothing. It is no longer the family that it once was and I'm very sad to see the change and how the employees are being treated now.Review fromThomas H

1 starAs a Levite of international royal lineage sending both the Lewisburg, ** Office and Executive of the company formal complaints without any dignity in even receiving my certified receipt mail I give notice of grievance now to the courts. My time is valuable as a sovereign. I can not recommend this organization to anyone. They are 100 percent for themselves. With regret, despite any correspondence of accountability, they face criminal and civil charges. I would give them a zero. Do not waste your hard earned money or time with these lack luster people. They are in it for self gain and not your families future!
