1. Our microwave stopped working while cooking Christmas dinner.2. I purchased a microwave replacement part on 28DEC23.3. The part arrived in a small plastic bag in a padded envelop, and I tested the part to make sure it worked. The part seemed inoperable. I tried to call the seller without luck, due to holiday schedule. 4. I finally got ahold of the seller on 03JAN24, who advised me on another way to test the part. The part functioned, but in the couple days that had passed, I realized I didn't actually need the part.5. On the receipt it states:Return Policy: All returned items must be accompanied with a *** form and be in 'Resalable Condition' (no used/installed and original packaging required). Items may be returned within 30 days from the invoice date for full credit; any returns between ***** days will be subject to a 20% restocking fee. No credit will be given after 45 days. All Core Returns have 6 months from invoice for full credit. Shipping costs are nonrefundable and the consumer will be responsible for the cost of their own returns. I called the seller on 05JAN24 for the *** form and she told me for a refund, the part cannot be opened because they cannot resell it. I indicated that their return policy doesn't state that "it cannot be opened", I have all the original packaging, and it was not used. I also asked if there was any way to return this or if I am basically losing $58.28. She said there is nothing she can do.7. This business does not comply with its return policy.
