I unfortunately was renting a home that was bought by up&up. At first, I was excited because I thought that nobody could be any worse than my previous management company, but I was so wrong. It took me over a week to get a hold of someone from up&up after they took ownership. You would think it was someone getting a hold of me? Nope I literally used my LinkedIn account to contact the *** and asked him if someone could contact me. Of course, I got some made up excuse about how the phones were down and how nobody got my phone call. Right away I let them know about my issues with my home and about how I was already talking to my old management company about transferring homes. Up & Up made it sound like it was going to be a breeze and just needed me to send me photos which of course I did. A few days later I was put into contact with another lady who told me I was no longer able to rent that home. Ironic considering nobody could get a hold of them but no big deal we would pick another one and start the application process. I then received an email saying we were approved for a whole other house from a different lady and then they backtracked and said never mind? I've let all of this go.. Fast forward now, they now claim I haven't paid a deposit which I wouldn't have been able to move without one. I sent documents which still wasn't enough. I've been told by other residents that everyone had different deposit amounts so how do they know a difference one? They are still showing the home that was told was mine? I am now stuck with a home that has an issue EVERY single week, a home that has a backyard that is beyond repair. a yard that has my dogs muddy every single time they step foot out in it. I have tried working this out with up&up a hundred times and I get absolutely nowhere. THE YARD IS NOT FIXABLE. WE HAVE DISCUSSED THIS. PLEASE SOLVE MY PROBLEM. IF WE ARENT GOING TO BE MOVED, WE WANT OUT OF OUR LEASE. WE DONT OWE YOU A DIME.
