      I hired APEX to remove existing roofs and put new roofs on house and garage. Measurements taken by company and by drone. Installation was to take ONE day and ***resentative I first met was to have been on site. On 8/9/24 a half dozen people who spoke NO ENGLISH arrived, removed existing materials, installed roof on house and 1/2 of garage and then left without even attempting to explain why they failed to complete project. The English speaking man never came to my home. After 10+ calls to every number I had the original *** answered my call and told me they ran out of shingles and would complete job, that day, before dark. Nobody showed, returned a call or text or email. I explained further that the roofers destroyed the gutter on garage. This company was to also install gutters, gutter guards and drains which have not been delivered so I intend to void this contract, and they may retain the $8000 I paid as a deposit as payment in full. I will have to hire another company to complete their work, which will likely use entirely different shingle, requiring demolition of those on garage now. It will rain in 2 days and there was no protective covering placed on open roof to protect it. This company has been entirely non responsive and if not resolved to my satisfaction I intend to file lawsuit for breach of contract.

      Still failing to contact me in any manner, 2 workers showed up unannounced 8/10 around 11am  and from what I see from ground may have finished garage.  Will have to inspect before confirming.

      Our records show that we connected with you and provided detailed information about the roofing project including whom to contact should you have any needs in real time. We do not have records of phone communications from you on that day or the next. We want to understand which numbers you were calling, leaving you unable to reach anyone. We have 24-hour call answering and seek to understand if you may have been accidentally calling an incorrect number or company.

      With respect to the gutters, it was conveyed in the Pre-Install Checklist sent to you that the gutters would be completed within 6 weeks of the installation. Currently the gutters are scheduled for Saturday, August 31.

      We kindly request you return our communication at your earliest convenience so that we understand the issue and make sure it is not repeated. Our goal is to provide you with an excellent experience. Please help us learn and understand here.

      Better Business Bureau:

      I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.  However, as specifically set forth in my complaint, the person you designated as a contact did not respond to my calls, which is the REASON i ended up filing a complaint.  I had no idea when these people would return, which was not "first thing" Saturday morning.  It was almost noon.

      ********************* from Apex Roofing & Restoration approached me late Friday evening about roof damage from the recent hail storm. She had her ********************* do the roof inspection who said we should file a claim with our home owners insurance. I told them the roof was only 2 years old. They said the damage was severe and we should file a claim right away. I said all I wanted was an estimate and that she could take down my information and send me the estimate. Instead, she made me sign a contract. I repeated, I only want an estimate. She assured me that is all I was signing. After signing the "Service Agreement", I read it. The contract says I must use Apex Roofing & Restoration if I file a claim. There is no estimate! Now I cannot use any other company if I get a 2md or 3rd opinion. ********************* then tried really hard to get me file the claim right then. She even said she would walk me through it right then. That was a lot of pressure. NO. I said I want to talk to my insurance company first. ********************* tricked me into signing a contract, not an estimate. It was late on a Friday evening, I was tired. This is very shyster. I want this contract null and void. I never received an estimate. At this point, they can charge what aver amount they want, and I am required to pay it through my insurance. I said I only wanted an estimate! A copy of the contract is attached. They damaged my roof when they inspected it. Their ladder tore some of our roof shingles.

      Better Business Bureau:

      In reference to complaint ID ********, I only asked to be free from the contract. On Monday July 8th, I received an email from ******************* stating that the contract was rescinded. I find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. I have included a copy of that email to the BBB. I see Apex did called me on July 15th. but did not leave a voicemail.
