  After struggling for three weeks with a national chain which led me around in circles over matters involving my insurance (when my insurance company had directed me to make my repair appt with this national chain), I still had a broken windshield that was gotten worse by the day. The national chain informed me that I did not have insurance and then when they seemed to understand that I did, the first available appt was two weeks out. I made it and then it was canceled by them.I ask my insurance company if I could "go local" and they agreed. I asked my auto mechanic for a recommendation and he quickly referred me to Broadway Auto Glass.Very good people who do excellent work. It is a family business- a dad and two sons that also had a mom who had been their office manager.The sons have taken over the business and dad works with them.The sons do most of the work on car. They are very competent, very friendly, and easy to learn from. I got an appointment within a week of my call. They arrived on time and their work was first class. I know that such workmanship is hard to come by in the windshield business but these guys have been doing it since they were young AND because it is a family business....their personal pride is easy to understand and to witness.Side note. I had just discovered that another of my vehicles has a small "ding" in the center of its windshield. I asked if they could look at it as well. They did. The fix was easy to do (no windshield replacement....just a sealer)....15 minutes. No charge. A courtesy. Wow~ Standing Ovation.
