Go literally anywhere else for used cars. Sold me a car with a leaky heater core and messed up suspension and exhaust, tried to tell me the suspension and exhaust happened after I drove it off the lot, they paid for those to be fixed at least, but they've done nothing about the heater core. I'm sure they're fine for new cars if you go in knowing what you want, but stay far, far away from their pushy sales team and used cars.Corwin Ford Response

The customer purchased an AS-IS MVI vehicle, which was a safety inspection only vehicle. This means the unit passes inspection but could have other non safety issues. The customer signed the AS-IS form at the time of delivery. Corwin had zero obligation to the customer for any repairs after the sale, but looking at the notes paid for repairs after the sale in an attempt to make the customer happy. We can provide the as is form the customer signed. Im sorry to hear that they had a poor experience with the 2014 Sonic they bought, but we disclosed the vehicle up front and guaranteed nothingReview from Vladislav G

I had brought in my 2017 **** focus 1.0l ecoboost due to my car stalling out and concerned with the oil pump recall. They had rejected accepting the recall, saying that the oil pump belt and components where in perfect condition and that i had only jumped timing. Weird how two belts made out of the same material can have thr oil belt be "perfect" while the other being disintegrated. They said they had checked compression and said my engine was toast and wanted me to buy a new engine due to having the pistons and valves being ruined. I rejected the repairs and when I came to pick up the vehicle, they had damaged it and they told me to get an estimate for the repairs and they would cover it. I got the estimate and the service manager said it's not his responsibility, even if I had documented pictured with timestamps of how I dropped off the vehicle and what condition I had it returned. I had gotten the car back into my garage and decided to do my own investigation. I used a boroscope camera to check inside the cylinder and there was no damage, I pulled the oil pan and timing cover off, and the oil pump belt was not in "perfect condition" and had severe cracking and excessive wear. I had to import my oem parts from overseas and just changed the timing belt and oil belt, and It did have compression in all cylinders and started right up. They try to steal your money, waste your time, then they damage your vehicle and say they're not responsible. Nobody was helpful on solving my issues with the damage they caused to my vehicle or listening to my concerns with their illogical diagonsosis. Do not trust these guys.Review from David S

My 2014 **** Fiesta stopped working, problems with multiple electrical parts of the car. When I took the car in to be looked at they automatically said it was the power steering recall. So they kept it for 6 months waiting for a special chip to arrive. I left it in July 2021 and did not get it back until December 2021. Within 10 miles of driving off the lot multiple things under the hood were damaged by a major part exploding. The locks were going open and closed. All the lights on the dashboard flashing. It was towed back to them they did about $3000 in repairs and I got it back. The car continued to not start 70% of the time. I had to call the tow truck 20 times within 9 months. I would take it back and they checked and said nothing was wrong. They replaced the recalled chip a second time no improvement. I finally towed it back to the original dealer I bought it from in **********, ** and they said all the screws on the engine were loose. That could be why the engine would not start. They tightened them and then 2 weeks later the steering on my car went out and I wrecked the car. Im still paying to this day all the money it cost for repairs towing and car rentals for a year because Corwin Ford on Glenstone in *********** ** never took the time to actually figure out what what was wrong with the car. They just guess the problem was the recalled chip, TWICE! Even when it proved that that was not the problem. The guy I spoke to every time acted like my concerns were nothing important.Review from Laura M

The cable bushing went out on my 2013 escape. Took it to my mechanic to fix. A few days later, I received a notice from **** there was a safety recall on the very same thing I just had fixed and the dealership would replace for free. I called **** and they opened a case and told me to take my receipt to the dealership for reimbursement. I took it in then received a call a couple of days later saying I needed to bring the car in so they can make sure everything was done correctly. They had my car for the day and it turns out they replaced it again so they could turn it in that they did the work. I was also told I would not be getting any reimbursement because of the date the recall started which was October 2022. If I had known there was a recall on that part, why would I pay someone to fix it when the dealership was going to do it for free?Corwin Ford Response

Corwin Ford is sorry ******************* feels this way. When she came to Corwin Ford to inquire about the recall we are required by both **** and the ****************** to verify the correct part was used due to it being a safety recall. We replaced her replacement part because the new correct part was not installed when she had the repair done at her own shop. Corwin did contact **** to initiate a refund for the customer and **** told ** that her repair she had done at her own mechanic was after the reimbursement window. That is ****'s response not ours. Corwin does not control that. If Mrs. ******** repair had been within the window, we would stil have perfromed the recall in our shop to replace with the correct part and we could have proceeded with obtaining her a refund.******************* is welcome to contact **** customer assistance to further try to get a reimbursement. We can show her on the recall announcement **** provides dealers where is states what the reimbursement window was. Corwin Ford did NOT perform the repair "just to get paid and prevent her being reimbursed," Corwin performed it due to the law and our agreement with **** Motor company requirements regarding recalls.Review from Kat W

I was told that the paint issues would be covered by warranty per a salesperson. When the claim was denied, I was very upset. I spoke with the owner of the dealership, who has offered to pay for the repairs where ********** refused to. If not for **** and *****, this lifetime **** owner would have purchased her last ****. Thanks for going above and beyond for me both of you. Word cannot express how much you have touch me with your friendliness and making me feel valued as a customer. This kind of customer service has been lacking in the world today. KUDOS!Review from John E

I took my 2019 Ford Escape to Corwin because a bolt had came out underneath and part was dragging on the ground. I zip tied it up so that I could drive it to Corwin. While there I decided to have oil change and rotate tires. When I got home I checked and the zip tie was still holding up the underneath. They had not done what I had asked. After I drove back to Corwin and showed them they did replace the plastic bolt. However, I noticed that they had charged me $7 + as a miscellaneous charge. When I asked about this they told me it was for rags and stuff they used in the shop.Corwin Ford Response

Corwin regrets we did not complete the customer wishes regarding the bolt replacement on the first visit. Upon customer return ********************** did replace the bolt at no additional charge for the inconvenience as well as gave him cash for the fuel to return for the second trip.On the oil change repair order Corwin did charge $5.79 in environmental/misc charges. The store uses these funds to pay for items we don't itemize on the repair order like rags, floor mat and steering wheel covers, and for environmental fees we are charged to dispose of the old fluids. Thank you for your business.Review from Garry B.

I went to buy a vehicle from this dealership. I filled out a trade in online they offered me $21,000 when I got to the dealership they said no we can offer u $16,500. Then the salesman offered me $20,000 for my trade had me run my credit and then came back with a deal for the $16500 trade in. Talk about bait and switchReview from Nicholas S

Went and paid cash for a new car bought it off the lot and there was snow and sleet on the ground when I bought it so I over looked it and couldnt see. But when I got 20 miles down the road going home I had a low tire indicator come on. So I looked around and come to find out all four tires where dry rotted two where worse than others and the two worst where on the front and had dry rot on the side walls. So goes to show you that they will let you drive a car away from there lot like that then whos to say what els there trying to hide on the vehicle as well. Confronted them about the tires and even took it back and showed them and they in lesser words said not there problem. Just dont want anyone els to have to buy a new car then have to spend 1,000$ dollars on tires a day later.
