I received a letter from this company that is borderline fraudulent and absolutely predatory and misleading. I have no relationship with this company and the letter states explicitly that I have a home warranty with this company and that it "may be or may have already expired". This is absolutely false. I am filing this complaint to alert the BBB to warn other consumers about this company, and to take every possible legal measure to stop this company from mailing these letters.

We do not have access to anyone's account or payment information.  We simply send a mail advertisement.  If consumers are interested they call and purchase.  If they are not interested they throw the advertisement away.  If you have purchased a policy through our company and wish to cancel the process is very simple.  Please call the customer service number on your policy and let us know you would like to cancel.  This process is done over the phone and takes about 24 hours to process.  Please let us know if there is anything we can do to help in the future.

I received a misleading Final Notice letter from US Home Guard/*********************, claiming my home warranty was expiring and urging me to call immediately. This letter falsely implies a connection to my mortgage lender and uses pressure tactics to get homeowners to sign up for unnecessary coverage.Key issues:No clear company branding just Home Warranty Division.Tries to appear urgent and official when its just a solicitation.Buried disclaimer admits theyre not affiliated with my lender. This is a predatory marketing tactic aimed at scaring homeowners into calling. Do not fall for this scam! If you need a home warranty, contact a legitimate provider directly. Shred this letter and move on. Theyre constantly commenting that theyre not a scam and its laughable because they KNOW regardless theyre being misleading intentionally which is why they have horrible reviews. Its disgusting!1.Lender Info: PRIVATE LENDER INFORMATION (Top section)This makes it seem like there is some connection to your lender, even though they never actually name a specific lender. This is a tactic used to create confusion and urgency.2.Secured by Private Lender Information (Paragraph 3)They state: This notice is to inform you that the propertys home warranty secured by private lender information, may be expiring or may have already expired. The phrase secured by private lender information is deceptive. Home warranties are not secured by lenders at all. This wording is meant to make homeowners believe this is related to their mortgage, pressuring them to act. These tactics are intentionally misleading to trick homeowners into thinking they are dealing with a required lender-related service rather than a random home warranty solicitation. Ive found not 1 good review. They know theyre being misleading and may the company perish for doing so!

They are sending scam letters out that contain PII to myself and several older family members. We do not have a home warranty with these people, our homes are all well over 80 years old. That and nobody proofread the letters they sent out, it's third grade at best.

I received mailer from us home guard indicating my current mortgage warranty may have expired. I think using a persons mortgage broker in an email and pretending to be affiliated is an unfair marketing tactic and I want them to stop taking advantage of people.

I continue to receive deceptive mailings from US Home Guard. The letters prominently display the phrase "Final Notice" and include an expiration date just a few days after the letter is received, creating an unwarranted sense of urgency. Additionally, the letter references the recipients mortgage lender above the address, which misleadingly suggests the communication is from the lender. US Home Guard fails to display its company name or logo in the heading, only including its name in small print at the bottom of the letter. I have no prior business relationship with this company, and the use of terms like "final notice" and a fabricated expiration date is both misleading and manipulative.

I recieved a "2024 Final Notice" from US Home Guard's *********************** with large bold letters saying "IMMEDIATE RESPONSE REQUESTED": "It is important you contact our office at ************** upon receiving this notice to avoid any unnecessary delays in your coverage before 09/05/2024." The letter is "signed" (using a typeface, not a real or cyclostyled signature) by *********************, Program Director.I don't have any coverage from US Home Guard. The letter does its best to stir up a sense of false urgency, suggesting that my home warranty "may be expiring or may have already expiring." This is false and misleading language that suggests I've already done business with the company. After receiving this missive, I wouldn't touch US Home Guard with a ten-foot-pole.

I received a "Final Notice" in the mail on 7/30/2024, addressed to my mother-in-law, regarding a home warranty that "may be expiring or may have already expired". My mother-in-law PASSED AWAY in September, 2023. She lived at this address for a short time about 17 years ago, but never purchased a home warranty while she lived here. She did not own this home.I really hope this is the Final Notice, as it says on the letter.
