      Im not sure where to start because of my frustration and is it even worth my time writing a review for a worthless customer service department. I called first three times the first two times the person hung up on me and I finally got some ***** person. She started out acting like she wanted to help and I provided all the information at the start to charge for shipping address, phone number, my name, etc.. I even told her what happened with our bed frame during the move, and I just wanted to buy some replacement parts. At that point is where the email tagging game started. I advise what I wanted then she made through two emails send photos of the bed, then another email she wanted a copy of the manual to put the bed together. Then she threw another email and wanted my shipping address, etc. Then she wanted to know who bought the bed where it was delivered and I didnt think that was relevant at all because again I told her in three other emails that I was going to pay for the parts and I even said Id pay up to $500 including shipping. The issue was my mother bought it and gave it to my wife and I as a wedding gift. I dont know where she had it shipped and she was living in a nursing home. Secondly, to me that had no relevance as I was paying for it as mentioned above, and then she did more email tag games. I finally gave up on her worthless work ethic and not providing customer service, and I told her I was done with a Ameriwood and I was gonna leave the poor feedback if she didnt even respond with lets fix this. I dont know who you have working for you, but this ***** was useless.

      The consumer's item is backed by a 1 year warranty that covers manufacturer's defects. Consumer stated that some pieces were damaged by their movers who dropped and broke the bed. This is not covered under the warranty, but we were willing to offer parts for a charge provided we could ascertain which parts are needed. In order to research and determine the best resolution for the consumer, we ask for specific details to assist, including proof of purchase and photos of the issue for evaluation. To date, the consumer has not been able to provide proof of purchase, or the address it would have been shipped to so we could research the purchase on our end. The consumer has also not provided any photos showing any damage or defect, nor have they produced any information from the instruction manual to guide us in assisting them properly. Because we have made some changes to this item since it's inception, without some form of detail from the instruction manual, we are unable to sell the requested parts because we have no way of knowing if the parts will be compatible. We would suggest the consumer take the issue up with their movers to seek compensation to replace their bed in it's entirety.

      Worst company ever. I bought an aquarium stand that holds up to 900 gallons. The boards are all scratched up, couldn't even put together as there is a board missing, the shelf in the middle didn't even match up with the holes. Customer service sucks big time as you go back and forth via email. I ordered replacement of 5 board and was told the order was rejected because it was over 50 percent There is 16 total peices how is 5 50 percent? I'm paying for this and all I wanted was 4 replacement boards and then 1 off which they didn't even put in the box. Don't order from this company.

      The consumers order was rejected due to the size of the parts ordered in comparison to the overall volume of the unit. When those parts were rejected, Dorel Home reached out to the consumer to request photos as it was suspected that the partitions were facing the incorrect way, causing some of the issues the consumer was experiencing. An order for the pieces the consumer advised were damaged has been placed and we will work with the consumer to correct the assembly error when their new boards are received.

      I got the parts that I requested after a few weeks and they were extremely dusting like they were sitting in a barn for a year. Allot of the replacement panels had scratches once again. I'll never order from this company again and will make sure my family and friends will never order from them either.

      @ameriwood I wanted to make a PSA. This company does not stand behind its products. We bought a wall bed from this manufacturer, and it broke when we tried to move it. Was just informed there is a VERY specific way to do this thats not documented anywhere in provided manual.Broken bed, no refund.#ameriwood #wallbed #expensivejunk

      I Ordered to couch through ******, from Dorel home furnishing. Try to cancel order within a couple hours of originally ordering it, which was also a week and a half before this item was even shipped. ****** sent a refund request a couple hours after it was ordered, I sent through seven requests for a cancellation. All cancellations were ignored by the company. I have emailed customer service, I have called the company left messages no communication from the company whatsoever, and they have sent the item anyway, which will be rejected upon delivery. Before ordering anything on ******, please check the company that you will be ordering from, this company has terrible customer service, and zero communication skills.DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM

      The consumer ordered product that is stocked in another country. There is a longer lead time for these items. By the time Dorel received the cancellation request from Amazon, the item had already shipped from our facility. The tracking information, however, doesn't update until the product crosses the border. The requested ship date for this order is January 26th, so Dorel shipped in a quicker window than Amazon requested. The product was received in ****** today, January 24th, and is now showing an estimated delivery date of January 26th. We apologize if there was ever any miscommunication on the lead time of this product. Amazon should have displayed the estimated time frame for delivery so that the consumer could have made an informed decision on their purchase. If that time frame was incorrect or not provided, I would suggest the consumer discuss that with ******.

      WARNING!!! This company has such a bad reputation that they now sell their products through other services. I bought a desk from *******. Unfortunately, Dorel Home Furnishings is the company that was selling the desk. It took an exceptionally long time to get delivered. And when it arrived, the box was wide open with dents and tears and stuff was falling out. It's a BIG box. It says 2 people should lift it as it weighs 60 pounds. They delivered it at about 7pm at night. When I looked at the box, it was WIDE open. I contacted the shipping company and ******* within less than 24 hours. ******* was great. They wanted to help but the company has a restriction that everything has to come through them. The company wanted me to inspect every piece in the box to see if it was all there and okay. I'm sorry. That isn't my job and how would I know what's missing if I'd never seen it before? Ugh. I was told I should receive an email within 2 business days. This was a Friday. It's now the following Wednesday and no email received from the company. I've checked my junk files and regular. Nothing. So..........., I called ******* again. Apparently, Dorel furnishings sent them an email that the box looked fine but they would offer me a 10% discount. This desk advertises for over $400 and they offer 10%. What a slap in the face. This company is completely lacking in customer service. My other option is to pay $60 out of my own pocket to have it shipped back.........plus all the tape or glue necessary to close this box. I'm sending it back. I don't want to support this company and their corrupt ways. Their rating is 1.6 out of 5. Horrible.

      Our warranty provides replacement parts to complete the unit due to manufacturer's defect. The consumer reached out to request an additional backsplash. This request for additional parts is not covered under the product warranty. Due to stock levels, we were unable to accommodate this request.

      Ive been back and forth emailing with their customer service rep ************** for months now. Since September. It is now January. She takes weeks to write me back. And Ive waiting forever several shipments for weeks as well. They sold me a chair without hardware. And I cant find the hardware anywhere in hardware stores. They strung me along. First, I ordered the parts. Never heard back. I called and they said my order never shipped. Called again and they said they werent in stock. I tried again later and they still werent in stock. Then suddenly I get a package from Altra Furntire for my replacement parts. Who is Altra furniture???? How do they have my information? No word from ****** about this. I try the screws anyway. They are the wrong screws. I write them again and they said they have them back in stock. Just got them again today and they are the same screws from Altra, which doesnt fit!!!! My chair is still sitting in my living room not put together. This company is so disorganized its ridiculous. No managers have reached out to me, Id expect they dont care since I ordered through ******** If only one would and give me priority shipping Id be safisfied.

      We have reached out to the Consumer to offer a complete replacement of the unit, to which she replied and accepted.I believe the hardships of being short staffed and dealing with employees out sick, resulted in this issue not being handled as efficiently as it should have been, and we regret that. We are pleased to have resolved this with the Consumer.

      They did indeed finally get back to me after I posted this review. Offered a replacement, I agreed. Like they said. Then they send me a legal document to sign before I receive the replacement. The document blocks me from any lawsuits or claims, etc etc. Im sorry but I think its a bit ridiculous, Ive never had to sign a document like this to receive a replacement product. Im not the suing type. Never even been to court before. But Im not going to be bound by this company in any legal manner, so Im not going to sign, which means no replacement chair for me. I dont think this makes me a costumer that has refused to be helped. I just think their terms are absolutely outrageous. And I just want this to end. Its too bad, I thought this was finally resolved. Oh well. Ill keep looking for the correct hardware on my own. Im just glad others can read about my experience.

      Update: The Consumer has refused to sign the release forms, which simply state, the defective unit we are replacing will be discarded by the Consumer once the new unit is received, and there will be no further warranty on the defective unit we are replacing.The Consumer has refused to sign the standard form stating the unit is defective and replacing the unit will void any warranty on the defective unit, and states that the Consumer will dispose of once the replacement is received in perfect condition.Therefore we are unable to send the replacement without the Consumers acknowledgment that the defective unit will not be used, and will be discarded upon receipt of new unit.If the Consumer changes their mind, Our offer stands.

      Im a bit taken back by this reply. Ive refused sounds like the business is blaming me. Therefore they cant fix the problem because Im the one at fault. Surely thats not what they are doing. As for this standard release form they speak ofIf its a such a standard form, it wouldnt instruct me to consult an attorney. And it certainly does. It also doesnt just simply state the disposal policy. Its clearly saying moreabout no claims against the company, in regards to this purchase once they replace it. It goes into lengthy detail. Why would any sane person finally turn down a replacement when all it was was a general form? That makes no sense. No, this form was a blanket protection that was too broad to sign. Anyway. I am turning down their offer, not because Im refusing to cooperate, but because their legal document was kind of shocking. Dorel doesnt need to try and solve anything anymore with me. Im moving on with finding hardware on my own, without their help. I thought this was obvious last time I posted, but Im posting again because they dont get to play the blame game.

      This company doesn't want to stand behind the junk they're selling,bought a king sized metal bed which creaks terribly and for some reason there's plastic tabs to keep rails in place which it doesn't because they're all broken, spoke with customer service and ****** said send in video of squeaking for compensation then ***** * gets involved and attempts to deflect in multiple ways in a ridiculous amount of emails and finally he says he'll send plastic tabs and the squeaking is normal... that's the most ridiculous thing ever,a king sized piece of squeaking garbage in my bedroom, this company and it's customer service *****,buyers be careful

      Hello, Thank you for the review, We did let the customer know that we reviewed the issue thoroughly with our quality control department and there is no evidence of any issues with it. However, in the interest of customer service and as per our warranty, we did inform the Consumer of our offer to replace the parts in order to restore the bed to its original state, which was refused. We are still offering the parts free of charge.Thank you.

      That's a complete lie because I have an email confirmation of some plastic tabs that they say will rectify the issue,the bed is squeaky and old and this ***** * is ruse and apparently a liar because he's saying I refused when clearly he sent an email

      Product was missing numerous parts. When you ****** the website to contact the company, there is literally a website: ************************************************************* When you go to the website to order the missing parts, they want to charge you to chat with a Represenitive. Now we are going back and forth with *** **** to get what we need. This product is not recommended for anyone.
