      I was sold a defective car in January of 2024. I took it back four times four to repair The jeep death wobble and suspension on the front end.. The sales manager told me that the death wobble could not be duplicated, and that the break pads had been changed to jeep manufactured pads. I was also told that that they performed services that were not evident on car facts as well as the service on the service departments documentation of services rendered. I told them I am not trading it after receiving calls and text about trading the vehicle in from the dealership while it was in there possession. My credit was ran again to try to trade me out the vehicle. The sales manager did not tell me who he was as we spoke about the issues in person. Even after i requested for me ****************** to call me. He did not disclose that he was the ****************** I spoke with on the phone while trying to discuss the problems with the vehicle. I have documentation of the discrepancies with services actually done and the services that were rendered when the car was taken back four times.

      this should be a complaint for the flowood cdjr store not ******* cdjr.  the customer has since gotten with the general manager and the repairs have been completed.  the customer has the vehicle and all should be fine now

      The transaction date was 11/14/2022, I initially paid 559.84 for services rendered, they put a part on my 2015 jeep wrangler called an accelerator pedal position sensor one of the employees that work there his name is ******* told me they messed up something when they were replacing the part which also messed up my computer system and throttle body and that costs is over 2,000.00. Now they are saying they are not going to fix the car they dont want to have anything to do with it to come pick it up. They refunded me my money back but my car is still messed up. The customer number is/ was ******. I talk to ***** in customer relations ************, and he was so rude i couldnt get any word in with him he was over talking me, and ***** told me he wasnt going to do anything about and that was it i just cried. They messed up my vehicle and its probably messed up for good i will probably have to get another vehicle which i cant afford. and i love my jeep. Matter of fact i brought it from there. The general manager ***** is not and will not call me back either. I have no one else to turn to. The only thing that my jeep needed was that one part now i regret getting it fixed through them. I dont know what else to do everybody is shutting me out even the car lot people now they dont want to help me. Please someone help me. i dont think i should pay for there mistake.

      when the customer arrived, they had a diagnostic (code read) done by auto zone for free and wanted the dealership to repair it per that diagnostic they obtained.  the general manager was present and witnessed this request by the customer at the time they were wanting it.  Our service department explained and offered to diagnose it correctly, but the customer insisted we repair the vehicle per the diagnostic she obtained herself.  we did what the customer requested.  it did not correct the concern.  for customer satisfaction, we have refunded the repair cost to her.  the vehicle needs a correct diagnostic performed, so a correct repair can be done, but the customer will not cooperate with the correct diagnostic and repair procedure. therefore, we will not be going any further with this.  mac haik flowood has refunded the customer the initial repair amount in full.  a parts house, aka auto zone, will perform a "code read and scan"; that does not diagnose a vehicle, it only states what the live diagnostic code is in the computer at that time.  the "code read/scan" tells the symptom, but to find the problem and actual concern is where the diagnostic comes into play, that explains WHY the code is in the computer to start with, and the root of the problem the vehicle is having.  nothing further at this time

      Dropped off a fleet vehicle for ********** ************** for repair and have tried multiple times to get an update or status on vehicle. I am constantly switched to the voicemail for fleet management, ******, and he is never at his desk and never returns calls when a voicemail is left. It has been almost two weeks and the only update we have received is we don't know. I have tried to be transferred to supervisors and managers and get the same result, no answer.

      I recently purchased a vehicle from Mak Haik in Flowood, MS. When I went to try to purchase a tag I was told that there was a hold on the vehicle by the department of revenue. When I contacted the dealership, I spoke to a sales associate in the title department, he then contacted someone at the department of revenue while we were on the phone. When he gave the lady the VIN # she told stated that the hold was on the vehicle because that car was reported stolen. When I drove down to the dealership to seek further information about this issue on Monday, June 13th the manager there at the time was no help. He stated that there was nothing that they can do. They couldn’t loan me a vehicle. The only solution he gave me was to wait until the end of the week to see if the hold was lifted.

      ****** had been in contact with the auction we purchased the car from to get this removed from the title.  The car wasn’t stolen the car was a repossession from Ally Bank.  The day the car was repossessed from the bank the previous owner woke up and reported the car stolen.  ****** stated: I talked to ***** our Ally rep about this this morning and he is supposed to be getting me proof that the car had been repossessed so I can send to the sheriffs dept in Alabama so they can mark the case as closed. I also spoke with Mrs. ******* yesterday afternoon after she had already filed the BBB complaint and she was very pleased with my and her conversation and said she wished she hadn’t already made the BBB complaint

      I bought a truck on 7 May 2022 and traded in my old truck. On May 31, 2022 the traded trucks loan payment was due and the truck had not yet been paid off. I went and spoke with the finance team and the Sales manager at Mac Haik Flowood and I was told it was the fault of my loan company that they hadn't processed the check. I asked for a picture of a check that had been sent or a canceled copy. Mac Haik couldn't provide one. I called my loan company and discussed the issue with them and they have no record of receiving a check. It is now 6 June 2022 and the truck still isn't paid off. My dad made a purchase from the same dealer in January 2022 and he had the same problem. It took Mac Haik 56 days to pay his trade off. I feel like this is a common issue with Mac Haik and something needs to be done.

      The payoff check was cut on Tuesday 6/7 for the trade in.  We had a delay in cutting the payoff check was because the bank he financed with is delaying in funding F&I contracts for all dealerships nationally.  we will not cut any checks until we are paid first.

      Aug. of 2021 I purchased a Tucson Hyundai from the company Mac Haik in Flowood Ms. Dec. 12, my husband had to jump the vehicle off because it was died. Dec. 13, the vehicle was no longer able to be jumped off. A battery was replaced and the vehicle still did not start but it tried to. We called our salesman for the vehicle for assistance and was able to get an appointment Feb. 1, 2022 and that was all. Our salesman told me that both service centers denied me a loaner vehicle and he did all he could.. that pretty much it was out his hands. The vehicle was purchased with 16,000 miles in Aug and was at 38,000 in Dec. I am still under warranty until 60,000. At the end of Jan. I had the vehicle towed to the service department on Lakeland in Flowood. I received a phone call stating that the battery we had put in was only turning on the lights in the vehicle and nothing else. I was told I had to purchase ANOTHER battery before anything on my car was looked at, which we did from them for $170. It is now Feb. 13th and the only information I have about my vehicle is that it is an electrical issue and they don’t know when it will be fixed. They don’t have any loaner’s to assist me and that it was a miscommunication before on being denied. I have only had the car 4 months before it messed up and have been without a car 2 months now. I am passed frustrated because I believe I was sold a “lemon” and they haven’t done anything to assist me in transportation. I still have to go to and from work because of bills and responsibilities and I have to pay people for the transportation. This is not how a newly purchased vehicle should be.

      This vehicle was still under factory warranty with Hyundai.  Customer took the car into the Hyundai dealership and had this experience.  We would not work on this vehicle as it would void her factory warranty with Hyundai.  Mac Haik is sorry for the experience the customer has had, but Mac Haik doesn't feel responsible for the experience that was at another dealership. This was a used car purchase that was still under factory warranty.

      Took my car to get my Ac fixed they said it was the humidifier sensor got that fixed. Picked it up at closing on Saturday and temp light popped on and went back off so I said it was nothing. Upon making it home the light came back on and stayed on air went out. Monday was instructed to drive car back with temp hand on and caused it to run hot on Elton rd and had to get towed in. Then it went to thermostat sticking got it fixed. He said they put a hose and a cap on to they say. Was instructed they no longer want my business because of my attitude and the Miles on the car. Been going there since I purchased the car.

      * May 26, 2021 * Mac Haik salesman took my widebody challenger that had been ceramic coated, and they knew it had, through the *** ***** automated carwash on lakeland drive. * Damaged the rims, tires and paint * The car already had issues with the paint. It had been identified as a paint defect by other professionals and has since been reviewed by a different Dodge dealership as defective. * inside of the car had a horrible odor that was NOT in the car prior to my leaving it at the dealership for repairs. * The car was purchased 11/2020 off the showroom floor and has been in the shop 3 times for repairs since purchase. * FCA refuses to assist with the issue, stating that it is between me and Mac Haik. * Mac Haik refuses responsibility saying they had no knowledge of the issue. I have text messages between the salesman and myself as well as the sales manager acknowledging the issues with the odor and the cost to detail the car and redo the ceramic coat.

      mac haik does not use *** ***** *** **** for anything.  we have our own detail department and automated carwash at that location and have NEVER used *** *****.  due to the time from the customers visit to now - the complaint, and the mileage that was put on the car from initial visit to the complaint now, mac haik will not take responsibility of anything that is wrong with the vehicle.  fca denied the claim due to the same reasons.  note - if my car was damaged, i would have let someone know immediately, not 2 months later.  customer has stated the she is getting a lawyer involved, so from this point forward, the BBB will not be the direction mac haik will take with this matter.
