              Memorial Hospital bill collection agent- HFA Account: ********* was on a payment plan. I would receive statements. I was sending in BILL PAY checks monthly. I noticed that statements were inconsistent. However, I did not want anything not to go unpaid and continued to send in payments. This morning, I called and learned that my balance was zero $0.00 and HFA failed to inform me; yet accepted my checks. I asked for a supervisor to return my call, along with requesting a ******************************* when I reached a zero balance. After four hours, the supervisor never returned my call. I would like said 12 months statement and my refund of overpayment.

              I went to memorial on feb 5, 2024 for food poisoning. I was billed on March 9, 2024 for my co-pay, but when I went to pay my bill it showed that there was another charge on the account that I was never notified about. When I called and talked to someone in the billing department the lady told me that the other amount that was attached to the account never had a bill made so I was never notified about it. So I had paid a little bit on the bill and they did not apply it to the original bill but to the one that I did not know about. I asked for it to be reviewed and added to the original bill. I just recently received another bill for the original bill stating that I have 10 business days to pay it off or it will go to collections. How is that possible bc I just received the new bill on May 13, 2024 and now I have 10 days to pay or it will go into collections?? They are a scam and do not care if they make a mistake or not on their part. They will bully you to pay a bill that you refused to pay bc they added an amount without you knowing about it. I will be making a formal complaint to the BBB about this bc this is my name and my credit they are trying to mess with.
