            My car was totaled on November 8, 2023 so my warranty(the versant group) was canceled on February 22, 2024 on that same day they sent a refund electronically to kia of mccomb dealership of $1,380 I have been contacting them since then so I can receive my refund but *** they refused to give me her full name they keep saying all we can give you is *** said that I never canceled my warranty I checked back with the warranty and they gave me proof (receipt of them sending the money to the dealership) I called back for a week she(***) wasn't in her office every time I called. I called again recently and they said my lender (truist bank) took the money I called my lender they said they never took the money they don't even have the authority to take my refund from them. I called again and she(***) said she's investigating it but there's nothing to investigate I have proof they have the refund she(***) didn't want to look at the receipt.

            When financing any ancillary products(ex. Service Contact, Gap, Tire and Wheel) the bank providing the financing has a lien on the vehicle and the ancillary products. Meaning that if the loan has not been paid in full the lienholder has the first right to any cancelation rebates for ancillary products. We have sent the refund to Truist Bank as we are required, to honor their lien. I have attached the request for refund from Truist bank showing where they have requested cancelation and that all refunds/rebates should be forwarded to the following address..
