    Security Credit Services, LLC (SCS) was formed in 2023 as a privately held Mississippi Limited Liability Company. SCS purchases defaulted receivables primarily from banks and credit card issuers which consist of both consumer and commercial receivables. Our best-in-class network of third-party collection agencies and law firms work directly with consumers to resolve their outstanding balances. SCS may furnish consumer account information to Credit Bureau Agencies pursuant to FCRA and CDIA guidelines and standards. The SCS executive team is led by industry veterans that have extensive experience in the account receivables management industry. SCS recognizes the importance of compliance and privacy of information and adheres to PCI DSS Standards. SCS is also a Receivables Management Association International (RMAI) certified company. As a RMAI certified company, SCS must adhere to uniform industry standards and best practices based on regulatory requirements. Compliance with the standards are monitored through independent third-party audits as well as through a structured self-compliance audit process.  We invite consumers to contact us for more information about their accounts.       I dont recall buying this but my question is i supposedly bought this item through Smart pay and that is who the contract was with and they charged it off and then this company bought this debt a company i have never heard of and i never signed a contract with them so i dont understand why and how they can do this??

      If you review your agreement, you will notice on Page 8, "Section 14. Assignment: We may sell, transfer, or assign this Agreement to any third party" , this will advise you that ******** was allowed to sell your account to any third party, in which, happened in your case once the account was charged off. It was then sent to debt collections, with Security Credit Services, LLC now being the owner of your account. If you do not recall this being your purchase, we advise you to complete the fraud claim documents listed in your letter and submit in to our office.

      I am rejecting this response because: The attachment provided is not an application you all sent a letter stating why you think this account is mine and no supporting documents so again Im asking for the supporting documents. As Im sure the better business bureau will close this complaint please let it be known my next step is contacting your state attorney general then litigation if necessary. So again I am asking for the application you stated you have with my name on it deeming this collections account as mine as it has yet to be provided.

      I am rejecting this response because: all they did was give information on the account. They say to reach out to smartpay but as they stated in the documents smartpay doesnt have the account & Im not liable to any debt with smartpay so that doesnt make sense. I want the original contract that I signed with SCC. This is criminal behavior.

      I never signed a contract with Security Credit Services. I have no knowledge of this account I demand that my credit report be corrected and this account be removed from my credit report.

      In your original complaint, you claimed you were not liable for the debt and wanted validation. We provided you with what you asked, so now it is up to you to follow the instructions provided in the letter to do a fraud claim if say you are not liable. If you cannot provide us with the documents listed, we will assume the debt is valid.

      We do have a Pentagon Federal Credit Union - CC (VISA) account #****************. The account has a balance of $29,274.19. Our records indicate that the account is now placed in bankruptcy status as a result of your chapter 7 bankruptcy filed back in February 2023. We stopped furnishing to all three credit reporting agencies and requested a deletion of the account on March 6, 2023. This office is no longer reporting to your credit.       I called about a account i wanted to pay but everybody i talked fails to give me the correct account number and wants to force me to pay an amount and even threatened me about it..They continue to hang up the phone in my face just a bad experience
