      *******************' owner transferred my sound suppressor from ********** to *******, instead of to me. When confronted with this, his store manager told me to hire a lawyer, which I did. Won a judgement, which he received, and his business refuses to pay me back for the suppressor or send it to a more trustworthy FFL. They went so far as to try and SELL me my own suppressor! A sketchy business practice, especially for an FFL holder. Seriously, this could have been settled way back when with a case of ammo, but now it's a judgement. This is no way to do business, and certainly not someone to do business with!

      This person's complaint has nothing to do with our business.

      Looking up this person's provided email address, he has only one order from ** back in 2018 for some AR15 magazines: a 20 pack of Magpul PMAGs and that's it.  Looking up his specific name, I find another "*************************" in the ***************** that has in more recent years (2021), ordered some 9mm ammo from us twice but from a very different email address (a "smashpipe@..." email address), and prior to the aforementioned 2018 order found from this email (the "el_destructo6350@..." one in this complaint), there are two other orders from this same name "*************************" that were also from ******, ** (as mentioned in this BBB complaint), but with a very different email address (a "*******************@..." email address, again very different than this one).  That email address (3rd found account with the same name but different email and physical address) but with this name had two prior orders from our site, one for some 22lr ammo and an older order for some 7.62x39 ammo, both back in 2017.  If he is either/both of the other two "*****************************" found from searching his name in our system, it is irrelevant since all orders with his name on them are just for some various ammunition and some mags, not at all the item he's complaining about here.

      To the particulars of his complaint, we do not even have a retail location, we have no local store, period, and definitely not here at our home in ****************.  Also we do not deal in NFA items like suppressors and pointedly our website does not even have "sound suppressors" (quoting for specific reference to his offered complaint) that he mentions (you can look all over our site for yourselves).  Sound suppressors are NFA items, they are heavily government (BATFE) restricted and regulated and require extra licensing/tax stamps for a federal firearm licensed (FFL) business, which we do not even have such extra licensing/tax stamp (it's called an "S.O.T" or "special operations tax" that is extra and beyond the regular FFL) so we could not even have the suppressor like he insists upon, at all.

      His libelous terms as well as this entire libelous attempt via your BBB website is unwarranted as we are NOT the company he's talking about nor do we have anything to do with his list of grievances/NFA item, period.  I hope I have made it succinctly clear and in no uncertain terms that this person's complaint is without merit, at least when it comes to us and our account here with you on the BBB.

      I felt mentioning the first parts of the various emails found was warranted to specifically make my point about what I found from searching his name in our website's order archive.  As per your instructions when answering a BBB complaint that will be forwarded to the individual and IF you decide to post this publicly on your website, those quoted email first names could/should be edited/removed to protect private information of individuals that *** or *** not be involved in this.  I understand and expect this and supply that information here in my initial response only for your consideration.

      The amount paid to surplusammo.com is $71.29 for the purchase of 4 boxes (20 count each) of **** caliber **** rifle ammunition made to fire from an AR-15 long gun.The date of purchase was 3/14/2022.The company then delivered by *** Ground to a specified FFL Agent as ********** firearm laws mandate but as it turned out the FFL Agent had closed due to retirement.The delivery was hence returned by *** to Surplusammo in ******************** as of 4/1/2022.Subseguently an employee there ******* called me by phone to inform me of the returned package of ordered **** caliber **** ammunition.I told her I would look into what may have went wrong and get back to them to resolve the situation.Once I discovered that the business (********* ll,4944 ********. *******************************************) had already closed permanently since January of 2022,I then attempted to reach Surplusammo to explain that and request a refund of my order for $71.29 by credit card.All attempts to reach them by phone and E-mail are unanswered numerous times each for nearly 3 weeks.All I want is my money refunded since the order wasn't fulfilled due to unforseen circumstances.The order number in question is #****** made on 3/14/2022 via **** Credit Card online.Thank You BBB!

      I just wanted to let you know that my case is now resolved with the settlement of a refund from Surplusammo.com.Without you it was never going to happen! You gave that business the shakedown they so deserved and they called me and refunded my money the same day on April/22/2022.No hassles even though they themselves are not members of the BBB.
