1 starHIRE AT YOUR OWN RISK I do NOT recommend hiring L&G for any concrete work. We had site visit with the supervisor to look at the slab to be poured and work to be done. A price had been agreed upon and a contract signed. Before the crew arrived for footers and set up they requested payment to start, but the contract states payment is due upon arrival. They arrived on site for footers without proper equipment so I had to rent the equipment that day for them to proceed. They destroyed my driveway with the gravel truck so now I have to get that fixed. When it came time to pour the concrete, the day of the pour they demanded extra money because they realized the concrete truck could not be driven down my driveway, and said that I should have disclosed this information, even though they did a site visit weeks before and none of this was discussed. This is common knowledge that you don't drive a cement truck on a residential driveway, but it was MY fault that I didn't bring it up to them. The pour got delayed from that day due to weather, allegedly, and the fact that I would not pay them before they arrived even though the contract stated payment due upon arrival. They even went as far as to threaten me, in a text message, that if I did not pay days before the job that it would delay the project. They only accept credit card payment, or wire transfers. This is extortion, and an absolute poor business plan. I highly recommend avoiding this company at all cost. Get quotes from an actual concrete company because you get what you pay for. There is a reason they are not an accredited BBB company, avoid them, because their customer service from the office is horrible. The kindness stops with the salesperson that sets up the job.Review fromKristin O

Absolutely the WORST company I have worked with. The supervisor was atrocious and rude! Because I would not comply with his bs excuse for his crew leaving all the scrap metal trash AND all of their personal trash, including saw blades on the ground, he hung up on me. I own a working farm and my animals were getting into all the trash left behind. The job took much longer than promised and it was simply on a sand rock base. The crew stated they'd be at my house starting the job at 6am and as I sat outside waiting it wasn't until over 2 hours later they showed up, same for the second day. A job they said could be done in one day took 3. I communicated multiple times I needed it done by a certain day. They rescheduled on me twice and it wasn't until I called that they told me. I'm positive it would have been a no show otherwise. Crew not only showed up later than expected they took over 2 hour lunch breaks and sat around talked while on the job. The building was paid in full in January!!!! I was done last week. They then tried to say I had a balance and they had no proof of payment. They are doing nothing to remove their trash and the supervisor tried very hard to make it MY fault it was left here. DO NOT RECOMMEND this company!L & G Building and Concrete LLC

I have so many regrets in choosing this company for my husband's 30ftx80ft dream garage/shop. There are so many mistakes that were made with the concrete that we are considering having the whole building disassembled, the pad rebuilt and the concrete foundation re-poured. It is that bad. Not to mention the fact that because the foundation was poured on dirt after the crew pushed all of the rock base off the pad, and not long enough so that the building could fit on it. There were gaps at the top and bottom that water runs down the side of the building from the top and under the bottom rail, running into the building everytime it rains. After giving them a punch list of building and concrete repairs needed, the only thing they did was replace 2 windows that were not what was on the contract, with the correct size windows. In total, we have paid all but the remaining "final" payment of the contract. They have attempted to schedule repairs but what they stated they were willing to do is a resurfacing of the concrete. That will do nothing to correct the structural problems, just the finish. The finish was supposed to be smooth. It was not smooth at all and has imperfections throughout, as well as the shoe prints of the workers too. I could write a multiple page report of all of the problems with their workmanship, unprofessional communication, and the fact that we signed the contract in November 2022, and it is now June 2023 and the building is not complete. We have discussed "repairing" with L and G, but have decided that we want nothing to do with the company any further. This was supposed to be turn key, but we have already spent so much money and time with them that there is no trust in them repairing anything correctly and yet they still expect us to pay them 5k for the remaining balance. Considering that we will have to find someone else to finish the project, I think they should reimburse us for at least the 19k we spent on the concrete slab.L & G Building and Concrete LLC

Good Afternoon, We have tried to reach out multiple times to both Mrs and Mr. ********** via phone calls, text, and email. They have even blocked one of the manager's number. Mrs. ********** expressed her concerns on the building and the crew was sent out to address everything she had stated, she signed off on the repair form stating everything on the form was completed. After the crew left she then called stating there were several other concerns she had. We told her that we needed a punch list of items to be able to get everything addressed in 1 trip. We tried various times to reach out to schedule a date and finish everything on her list and never received a response. We hired an engineer to test the concrete to confirm that the concrete had no structural issues. The report was emailed over. The last call that Mr. ********** answered he told us that he had been in a motorcycle accident and needed some time and also was tight on funds to pay the final amount owed. We were understanding and told him to call us back once he got better so we could schedule a date and since then no calls have been answered, this is the first time we hear from them since May. As far as communication, since the beginning Mrs. ********** never answered any phone calls and we always had a hard time scheduling due to no response on our calls/emails. We are willing to schedule a repair and address all concerns but we do require some communication from the customer in order to get this scheduled.Review fromCorey G

The worst experience I have ever had. Just shy of a year to have my building installed. Have been ignored and told every excuse in the book since I’ve had this started. The building crew that came out was probably the only positive part about this. They were hired as a sub and did awesome work. I hope this business will stop doing business and ripping people off. They do not need to be in business. I’m a not the only one who has had this issue.L & G Building and Concrete LLC

When I first set up the date to get my garage built they were nice and communicated very well. Then dates started changing and crews not showing up. I didn’t get any communication about anything. I then started having my concrete crack away from the relieve area and I called 17 times and emailed over 27 times to get it fixed under the warranty. They kept pushing me off and saying give me a week to let you know, the. It went to give me a couple weeks, then it went to may take a month or two. It has been over 10 months since I was told give me a couple days. They don’t communicate and they don’t care about past customers. Don’t waste your time with this company. P.s this isn’t the only thing they have done. They also messed up my garage and I had to threaten to sue them to get it fixed before they got someone out here to fix it.L & G Building and Concrete LLC

Would not recommend this company as there was no communication, the process was dragged out, and unprofessional. I also should have looked them up on BBB, as they are no longer accredited due to so many complaints similar to ours. We contacted David in May for a quote on concrete for a building we thankfully purchased elsewhere. L & Gs concrete was cheaper but you know the saying you get what you pay for. They came out to do some grading first, which was done way past the spot we specified so now we have to reseed the area along with having it flattened back out as they just left mounds of the dirt piled up. We had footers dug and our inspector came out and failed it due to inconsistent measurments and also informed us they needed to redo it if we specified we wanted a 5 inch slab which we had done but they made it for a 4in . We paid the 1st half as agreed and then to get them back out to correct area along with pouring concrete was the most aggravating part. Kept getting forwarded to voicemail, never returned calls, when we did here back we were told the "schedular" would contact us the next day, it took over a week to finally get a schedule and they wanted payment up front, now mind you we paid cash, had no poblems with paying and were easy to deal with, but here it was July 2 mths after initial start time, and we had been shrugged off multiple times. David tried to say it was the weather but no that was **. A whole month of bad weather? We wanted them to start the last bit before we paid in order to ensure we weren't getting screwed, we were told we could go elsewhere if we had a problem. We basically had no choice after already paying over $3k for footers, and they still needed to fix their mistake. Needless to say we were glad when they were done, however they left trash in the yard and my children found pieces of rebar and a saw used to cut it in the yard and were playing with it!L & G Building and Concrete LLC

We paid our deposit September 2021. There was many phone calls and emails for dates and excuses about weather. We finally got our building July 2022. That’s 10 months of waiting. I highly recommend going with someone else.L & G Building and Concrete LLC
