He did a carport pad and a barn pad for us. We put down the asking 50% and he showed up and dug the footers for our barn pad in the wrong place from where we had told him.
He was given multiple phone numbers to call to clarify any questions. He even had access to
**** Co. Permit Portal to look at the prints that were online and available from the building
company. He dug the driveway the wrong size, did not dig footers that were required by ****
County permit office. The pad for the lean to was wrong and was told numerous times about
the footages and placement of each pad. He tore up the yard with his mini excavator, broke a surface clean out pipe trying to load said excavator on a trailer, in the yard, with no truck attached to it by slamming the bucket over the pipe numerous times. He was argumentative, degrading, condescending and would not listen or follow directions. When concrete was finally poured, the forms were removed to quickly that they blistered the edges. We never added or changed anything from the original scope of work. He was bragging about how he had done
these types of pours for sheds and that he did not need to call anyone for instructions. He left trash (nails, string, plastic and pieces of broken forms) in the yard. The footer for the lean to was not level with the barn pad and we had to hire another company to fix it the right way.
His answer to that was to shim it with blocks. He badmouthed the barn company, the
**** Co. inspectors orders and was rude about what was required by code and specs.
Stay away from this guy.

Often times when the homeowner has hired bums to do work in times they try to micromanage everyone else they hire.
Real tradesmen that know their jobs just want to work and be left alone.
I believe firmly in my heart without a doubt that nether client intended to pay. There is now an outstanding lien on their property for the remaining balance of $9,000.00 plus interest and attorney fees.
I will leave the lien in place indefinitely and I will never settle with you as the work is perfect. Fortunately money is not the issue. You are a liar and now you are a thief. I rest comfortably knowing that I have eternal rights to the proceeds of my work in the form of a portion of your property as long as I keep my lien renewed. It may take months and it may take years... personally I hope it takes years because I get earned interest on your debt....

There is no Mr. or Mrs.********* at this address, so I do not know what beautiful work he did at their residence. We did not receive beautiful work at our home and it is regretful that I am unable to post photos of the shoddy work that we received. If the contractor does not like to work with homeowners he should find another line of work. All that was asked from him was to follow the site plan which was filed with the permit office in wake county, which he did not.
