See invoices ***** and *****. In April 2023 ******** Plumbing installed a kitchen sink in my home. In November 2024 I noticed a leak and called them. Same two plumbers came 11/18/24 and replaced basket strainer they installed originally in April 2023. I have the old basket strainer and nothing appears wrong with it. I believe it was improperly installed in 2023 and the seal failed causing water damage to my cabinets and flooring. I visited ******** Plumbing on Main St in ********** and left a written explanation of my questions and asked that they reevaluate the over $300 bill they sent me. No one has contacted me. I called and spoke with ***** who claimed to know nothing but would have the owner (****?) contact me. He has not. I have been their customer for four years.Business response

I visited Ms. ******* on 12/18/2024 to look over the issue she stated in her complaint. I found no damage to her floors or under her sink. The two service calls were 18 months apart. The old basket strainer she referenced no longer had a gasket, so had to be replaced. In an effort to resolve this, I agreed to remove the charge for the new basket strainer and reduce the labor charge to the one hour minimum. She was happy with this outcome and stated that she would immediately go back on this website and remove her complaint. We consider this issue closed.Customer response

I am rejecting this response because:
1. I received an adjusted invoice that still includes $40 for parts that I understood wouldn't be there. I will pay cost of service visit $120, nothing more, and that was the agreement.
2. At my home we only looked at the repaired sink and a discarded strainer. The floor/subfloor damage is under the 3'x5' rug near the sink placed there so I won't trip on the shifting vinyl planks. That's why he didn't see it.3. I'll consider this matter closed when I know ******** Plumbing will accept $120 plus tax as payment in full.
