Date of Service 02/17/2023 Paid $318.00 ********** was nice, the technician was friendly, and blood-drawing went smoothly. My complaint is for their deceptive way when it comes to trying to submit a claim to your insurance. On their website it states (this is direct for their site. "NO INSURANCE? NO PROBLEM!Will my medical insurance, ******** or ******** pay for my test through ANY LAB TEST NOW?ANY LAB TEST NOW does not accept medical insurance. In some cases, your lab test and its payment may be accepted and reimbursed by your insurance company in accordance with the terms of your policy. Please check with your insurance company. Cash and all major credit cards are accepted. ANY LAB TEST NOW also accepts most health savings account credit or debit cards associated with a major credit card."In order to submit a claim to your insurance company, your insurance company will ask for the Tax Identification Number of the company providing the service. So, I called Any Lab Test Now for this information. They refuse to give it. Then they proceeded to tell me a form I signed states I will not submit this to insurance. Not sure why such a statement would be in a form or why they would care if you submitted to your insurance. But from the statement on their website (see above) this seems like a conflict and clearly makes you believe that you may submit a claim with the possibility of being reimbursed.Their response was basically oh well we don't give out our Tax ID Number and you signed the form.If you plan on using this company do not plan on the possibility of any kind reimbursement from your health insurance.I must wonder, why are they SO against you submitting a claim. Very shady business practice in my opinion and they should make this very clear to the patient.

Our statement, ************** no problem" means that customers do not need insurance to receive services in our office. We do not accept insurance since we are not physicians and cannot provide a diagnosis code which is required by insurance. In addition, I have been advised by both my attorney and my CPA not to give out my tax ID to individuals. This would be like giving your social security number to a stranger. You can search online and see the same advice that a business should not provide this information to an individual   We can provide that information directly to an insurance company if they want to contact us. We have been in business for 14 years, and this has never been an issue.

My employee was mistaken in stating that our consent states that they cannot file a claim. The statement on the consent form only applies to filing for ******** and ******** since that is legally required for us to do so since we are not a ******** provider. The consent form states. "I certify that I will not seek to be reimbursed by ********, ********, Tricare or any other government insurer/payer. I agree that I am personally financially responsible for payment of fees for all tests ordered and collected by Any Lab Test Now at my request.

We are not against anyone submitting a claim, but we discourage people from doing so since it is unlikely they will be reimbursed without a doctor's diagnosis code. Again, if ************** would like to have his insurance company contact us directly we can provide the tax ID# directly to them. We are more than happy to do so.
