I leased a new vehicle from Leith Vinfast in ****, **, in September 2024. The car has a 10-year warranty. January 2025, the dealer diagnosed the vehicle with a defective battery. The dealer informed me that the battery was not warranted and I needed to pay $420 for a new one. I have had problems since I purchased this car, and the vehicle has been in the shop several times. *******, I would like the manufacturer to buy back the vehicle or replace it with another car. Still, the dealer has not been very transparent and honest in dealing with any issues concerning the vehicle. My payments are $360/month. I have had to rent a car for the past three weeks since the vehicle is still at the dealer in ** while I reside in **, and I am paying for the car rental out of my own pocket since the dealer claims that they don't have a rental program. The dealer is now threatening me that they will tow the car if I fail to pay for a new battery. I am also requesting reimbursement of the cost of the car rental plus the cost of going back and forth to **.

On April 14, 2023 I contacted the business (Leith), based on a referral from several friends who recommended this dealership, and specifically this salesperson, ******* *******, to arrange for the purchase of an automobile. Part of the decision for choosing this location was the opportunity to purchase a vehicle with no money down. I submitted application on April 15, 2023 after being assured that financing could be arranged with no money down as many others have done. I even offered to make some sort of down payment anyway (up to $1500) because I thought that would make for a better deal. By April 17, 2023 I received a text from ****************** indicating that "the banks are not in a good mood " and he proceeded to tell me that I would either need a cosigner, or at least $2,500 down. I informed ****************** that this is not an option. I did reconsider and asked him what kind of deal could be made on the car of my choice for $2,500 down, and I was informed that the *only* thing they would finance for me was an 7 year old Jeep Compass - a 2016 model. Out of more than 100 cars available I found that very hard to believe. ****************** proceeded to then tell me that the down payment increased to $3,000. This is bait and switch. When I took time to consider my options, I received a text in ALL CAPS from ****************** from a different telephone number ************ that stated "HEY..JUST CHECKING TO SEE YOU WERE ABLE TO COME UP WITH YOUR DOWN PAYMENT SO WE CAN GET YOU TO RIDING". The message was laced with typos and bad grammar, and never addressed why the down payment amount had changed. He responded by chiding me about my credit. I informed him I would make the State Attorney General aware of these practices, and then he had his managers call me every day to harass me. To date, no one has really addressed the issue, and I still cannot purchase a vehicle.

After looking further into this situation we have spoke to the employee stated in the complaint and the talk of buying a vehicle with 0 money down was contingent on credit worthiness. After we received the application and submitted it to the banks we found a bank to approve the customer with **** dollars down and it was only on 1 particular vehicle due to the loan to value on the vehicle. Unfortunately we can only do as much as the banks will allow ** to do and we exhausted all means to try to be able to assist the customer in getting into a vehicle with the least amount of money down. The managers were not contacting him to harass him by any means they were simply following up to see if he had the money down or found a co signer just trying to assist him into getting into a vehicle.

Hello, I own a 2012 Audi A4. I have been having an issue with the car leaking oil into my engine and causing various issues. I took my car to the Audi dealership in **** to discuss how my car was burning through oil really fast. Also, the engine was misfiring, and blowing black smoke out the exhaust. The salesman also recommend I replace my oil filter and change my oil due to the mileage. About a week after i dropped my car off the dealership sent me multiple videos going into detail about how there was a leak coming from the cam girdle seal and how this leak was causing various issues and that fixing this problem would resolve the oil and other issues I was having with the car. A week later they called me and told me my car was fixed and that it cost over $2,400 because its a very labor intensive job but my issues would be resolved with this repair. In less than 3 days I noticed my car burned through a quart of oil already and noticed black smoke still coming from my exhaust. The dealership also said fixing the cam girdle seal would also solve a thermostat housing issue I was having which it has not done either. I called the dealership to try and ask about why my issues with the car aren't fixed still and was told that now it might be something else causing it after I specifically asked if anything else could be wrong with the car because i don't have money to keep spending on this issue which I was told multiple times on videos, text, and over the phone that the repair I paid for would fix the oil issues with the car. I have supporting documents that support that the dealership stated the cam girdle would fix the oil issue, and yet the issue is still happening. The dealership will not come to a resolution with resolving the issue.

Mr. ********* came into the dealership with a concern of a check engine light and his vehicle running rough.  He had been to another Audi dealership (April 25, 2022 mileage 97,770) prior to visiting Audi **** (Sept 20, 2022 mileage 102,758)  and provided a copy of the other Audi dealership's findings.  We diagnosed the vehicle and found the same thing the other dealer did.  The engine was leaking oil from the cam girdle and into the spark plug tubes, there was a coolant leak from the water pump / thermostat assembly and his ignition coils are aftermarket. Detailed video footage was sent to the client for review, explaining what was needed and why.

The client approved replacement of spark plugs and to fix the oil leak from the cam girdle.  He declined the coolant leak and ignition coils.  The technician performed the work approved which resolved the customer concern of check engine light and vehicle running rough.  After repairs the check engine light was off, no faults returned and the vehicle no longer ran rough.

The client picked up the vehicle and three days later called back saying his issue had returned.  I asked him what was going on and he said that he was having to add oil to his car. There was never any mention of an oil consumption complaint at our dealership or the Audi dealership that initially saw the car in April.  I asked him if the check engine light was on or the vehicle was running rough, he responded that the check engine light was off and the vehicle is running fine, but that it is consuming oil.  I let him know that I was unaware of this concern as that is not what he brought the car in for and discussed with me, but that it is an issue we can look into and diagnose.  He said that we told him the repairs he paid for would fix all of his issues.  I told him that the issues we were made aware of (check engine light and running rough) were resolved by the repairs.

I offered to recheck our work for free to the client, but that any new concerns would need to be diagnosed.  I have supporting documents signed by the client showing the concerns he brought his vehicle into the dealership for.

I purchased a new Jaguar EV 400 on 19 February 2022, and had it shipped to my DC home, but did not receive the license plate until late April 2022, after multiple frustrating phone calls and emails with the dealership, who did not properly register the car. I still do not have the inspection sticker and have gotten several parking tickets because of this. “New personal, non-commercial, and non for-hire vehicles that have a manufacturer's Certificate of Origin (the title for a new vehicle) will automatically receive a 4-year new car inspection sticker upon registration through the dealership.” **********************************************

I purchased my vehicle from leith auto park in ******* in February 2020. There was a recall on my vehicle back in 2018,2019. There is an issues with the engines/gas lines in the year make and model of my vehicle and a letter was sent out to the previous owner of the vehicle informing them of the issues with the vehicle. They must’ve sold it to Kia or traded it in and Kia sold me the vehicle without the information being told to me. Two years later my vehicle breaks down and the engine is no longer good. Kia delearship is stating I am responsible for it when I should not have been sold a vehicle with that type of recall and I was never aware of it. I need help due to pain and suffering and being without my vehicle and missing work and not being able to do things needed.
