    I canceled a policy with H32393537303232**3833H Insurance in September, prior to the start of the policy renewal. They had already been paid $1276.00 for the renewal. I was told that the refund would be issued, however, no refund has been issued. We have waited 5 months for this refund check, and it isn't arrived. We have tried to reach them via email, and they have ignored the email.I have attached the cancelation document, signed by both parties.Policy #**-019606 Property Insured *********************************************** Insured Name ****** L ******, ******* *********** Date Canceled 09/04/2024 Mailing Address **************************************************

    Received email for HOA:Good Morning ****** and *********, The original request received on Tuesday, 2/4/2025 does reflect a signed date of 9/4/2024 in the upper right corner however, the cancellation date field was blank and therefore we did not know what the requested cancellation date was for processing. Thank you for sending in the corrected form and proof of other coverage. Since the policy with ********** began on 9/3/2024 and we cannot legally double insure a person, the policy has been cancelled as of 9/3/2024. A refund in the amount of $1,276 will go out tomorrow via regular mail to 1830 ***********************************, SC 29715.

    we submitted request but insured did not put in effective date so carrier didnt process.  Once he followed up and informed us carrier didnt process we resubmitted with proper documentation and refund sent to insured.  The agency never had his funds this was with carrier not us.  Again once we were actually made aware of the situation we were able to follow up with carrier and have issue resolved.

    I am rejecting this response because:
    The business is telling a complete lie. It was confirmed with Homeowners of America, that Pegram never notified them of the cancelation request, though I have a fully signed copy that Pegram signed in September. It is their responsibility to complete the form, not mine. Pegram did absolutely nothing, until we sent them a copy of a lawsuit, and our intent to file it against them. Once that was done, they did the correct thing with Homeowners of America. To confirm nothing additional was signed by me. They already had everything that they needed. Should Pegram continue to be unethical with their response, we will file a complaint against Pegram Insurance with the ************************* of Insurance as well - so that they can be further investigated. Just be honest. Just be ethical. They made a mistake, and just can't admit it, or own up to it. I did finally get a refund, but again, only after serving them with lawsuit documentation. Stop lying. Stop being unethical. Do the right thing. Admit to your mistake. Admit to your error. Admit to your unprofessionalism.
